A tree dies in the forest It's bark feeds fungi It's hollows house a family And a shrew sustains them. Somewhere in Washington State, a tree is cut down and eventually becomes the art before you. Though they all had a regrettable death, at least they had A Nourishing End. #art #owl #woodburning

Lovely humans supporting my art. They paid my housing costs for one month♡. People believing in my art has helped me believe too. I'm so grateful. Even in this whacky-ass world. amanitas by @paper.fern.studio . #Shoplocal #art #artist #crow #mushrooms #bird #localart #woodburning #pyrography

We have to answer the call to whatever the universe asks. Again, I know it's small. We all have our small, important purposes and parts to play. To create, to support, to show up. We can all do these in our small ways, and we have to trust that following the bitter calls will lead to sweet.

It is so small. So small on this mysterious, beautiful Earth, and so small in the fcked up human world. But damn, it is big to me. It was a piece that costs customers, as it is entangled in politics and freedom. And yet, I became more free to create with its purchase. 2/

#mushroommonday From 2023. Lately, friends and customers have mentioned how they've enjoyed seeing my art and improvement journey. It can be vulnerable to remember less skilled times... but also fck that. It's cool to improve. It's cool that others think it's cool too! #Pyrography #woodburning

Old Life 🌿 Do you ever wonder about what you can not see? Whether due to hidden secrets or limitations in our human ways? I wonder and yearn to know what Old Life exists that I can not grasp. I hope one day I'll learn, even if not in this human life. #snail #pyrography #woodburning #art #mushrooms
