I pre-ordered carcass front back when I had money... and now im excited about trench crusade again. The narrative campaign is exquisitely dense. I need to find some people to play with.

Just making some art for a tshirt maybe? I dunno probably not.

A Red Frog-like humanoid hugging a blue turtle-like humanoid on an empty black background. their weapons are on the floor. Above them are the words "Goblin Website" in red with a blue drop shadow. on the left some hand written text reads "kill the little CEO inside your heart" and on the right in red it is written "Pain in birth/pain in death/What is now" and on the bottom in blue handwriting is "The check's in the mail"

I'm entering my unhinged Linkedin posting era.

Working on Side Quests was an incredible experience. On my 2nd day on the job, I worked from home because I was worried about the forecasted high winds, then my house burned down. This crew...this amazing crew, came together to support me with a donation of 5000 hummus pretzel cups, 20,000 fig bars, 4 hard boiled eggs (no salt packs), and approximately 70,000 la croixs. David Zazlav called me personally and we both cried openly and had an incredible conversation. I imagined that he cried but I didnt see his face. if I was him I'd cry.

The work was the best part. Taking a well loved show and reinterpreting it for the next generation of kids who will go on to create and police their own art works: making sure the ships are correct, the animation is on point, and no corners are cut. They will grow up to love the art form the way I have, and they will go to tvtropes dot org and obtain a homegrown education on telling stories just as our elders did under the stars 5 million years ago.

Adventure Time: Side Quests premiers June 29th on Hulu and Disney plus. gather ye families and watch it together and witness the blood i poured into each and every background pixel.

(also I'm available for work if you're hiring.)

I'll be selling these two prints starting in a couple of weeks. I have a very limited quantity. I'll post an update when it gets closer to release!

A frog-like soldier running away from battle. A gun dangles at his side and he is surrounded by flames.

Two frog-like soldiers sitting and reclining on the edge of a wall of a labyrinth. They look forlorn.

Comic is by Lynda Barry. Here's a version of it with alt text. (Thank you @alex-awoos.bsky.social!)

A four-panel comic, where an adult and a child are in an art museum. The adult says, "I don't know how to look at art."

The child goes, "what's supposed to happen"?

The adult replies, "something big, like a revelation."

The child asks the adult "can you pick me up so I can see better?"

In the final panel, the adult is holding the child, both are looking at the painting. The painting is of an adult holding their child, showing the pair viewing the art to be like a mirror of the painting.

On May 1st I'll begin selling Agony of Elves on my itch.io page. I'm also producing physical postcard copies which I'm bundling with The Head and Fuck! It's Dracula. Agony of Elves is a game I'm pretty proud of.

A black rabbit, seemingly fused to the ground from the neck down. It has more eyes than it should. It is wreathed in flame.

I've printed up a ton of these Fergs at this point but holding this handful of green resin minis gives me such a joyful feeling. I can't describe it or explain it. This is very much a personal project.

A handful of green miniatures. The miniatures are anthropomorphic frog men with helmets and rifles.

I finished the painting. I really like how this turned out.

A frog-like humanoid dressed in armor. A rifle hangs across it's body and his hands are empty. He is running away from something. Behind him are flames. Another frog man is sillhouetted and is falling as if tripped or shot by a bullet.

I've been working on the Tort faction for my game, The Very Brief Maze War of Fergenkrank. Torts are genetically identical to Fergs but their culture is strongly tied to the shells they wear on their backs. Similar to the relationship between frogs and turtles in real life.

A digital rendering of a crouched humanoid frog-like creature. Its wearing a misfit helmet, a shell-like harness on its back, and holds a spear.

That Elephant movie was so good! Pen Ward made a trippy, unfollowable beginning, Rebecca and Ian made a stylish and slightly messed up middle, and Pat made a poignant and emotionally gripping ending.

Hi #portfolioday I'm Levon Jihanian, and art director and background painter for tv and feature animation. I'm looking for work starting in December!

A frog guy, or ask i like to call him, a ferg, and his giant bird companion with a goblins face, or ask i like to call it, a berg. They're in a muddy pathway next to a big wall.

Wirt, Greg, and Beatrice walking through a forest, haloed by a warm light. This is the key art from Over The Garden Wall.

A spooky river and fields. A sinister tower is in the distance, along with a red glowing moon.

A fallen tree in a grove. It has smashed a wooden shack. A path winds by.

Im not sure why Long Story Short isn't getting hyped more. It does a lot of interesting, bold and appealing things design-wise and is funny and has heart, and the narrative reads like a Chris Ware comic (complimentary).

A still from an animated show with aduly 2 brothers and a sister sitting in a backseat seat of a car. From Long Story Short.
