Trump 🤡 may have 'stolen' $1.7 billion from the gov't while serving as president. Trump-owned properties repeatedly charged the Secret Service rates far higher than gov't rates, as high as $1,185 per room per night. That's nearly 6 times the allowed per diem rate of $201 per night!

Trump could be on the hook for over $2 billion if you add the $1.7 billion refund the Government may ask Trump for.

The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists re-sets the Doomsday Clock at 90 seconds to midnight, and global destruction.

"The members of the Science & Security Board have been deeply worried about the deteriorating state of the world.

That is why we set the Doomsday Clock at two minutes to midnight in 2019 and at 100 seconds to midnight in 2022.

Last year, we expressed our heightened concern by moving the Clock to 90 seconds to midnight—the closest to global catastrophe it has ever been—in large part because of Russian threats to use nuclear weapons in the war in Ukraine.

Today, we once again set the Doomsday Clock at 90 seconds to midnight because humanity continues to face an unprecedented level of danger.

Our decision should not be taken as a sign that the international security situation has eased.

Instead, leaders and citizens around the world should take this statement as a stark warning and respond urgently, as if today were the most dangerous moment in modern history. Because it may well be."

"Sun, Fog and Ice" ⎯ 1931 🎨 Lawren Harris (1885-1970) Lawren Stewart Harris was a leading landscape painter and a key figure in "Group of Seven" and gave new vision to representations of the northern Canadian landscape.

This is one of the "grand canvases" based on sketches and small oil panels that Lawren S. Harris did during two months in 1930 spent aboard the RCMP supply ship and icebreaker SS Beothic travelling to Greenland, Labrador and the Canadian Arctic. That trip and the resulting paintings marked the end of Harris's landscape period. From this point on, he moved steadily further and further into abstract expressionism.
