Sakiko: Shouting Against the Absurd

I fear I may be consumed by the waves
of darkness
and adversity.

Even if I shout as loud as I can,
my presence may drowned out and washed away.

But still, I shout.
To dispel all that threatens to corner us.

The absurdity of this world.
My fate.

I can't hold back any longer, and I shout.

Even if I were to make an enemy of everything,
the "me" who would sit quietly and obey demands
is long gone.

Translation notes
"To dispel all that threatens to corner us." / 取り巻くすべてを吹き飛ばすように
"Surround" isn't wrong for 取り巻く, but in my head, the word means more like to corner and control.
Also, she's not shouting just for herself, so I wrote this line as "us" not "me."
In the actual scene, she says あなたとわたくしを (you and me) in reference to this word.

ただ黙って従うだけの『わたくし』はもういないのだから
She's changed from saying her past self is "dead" to just "not here anymore." Went for "long gone" to kinda meet the ideas in the middle.

Mutsumi: Shutting My Eyes

"Your popularity has boomed." "Has your mother commented on it?" "How about your father?"
"I" can't meet these expectations.
"You're a natural!" "Perfect!" "Your future is so bright!"
If "I" open my mouth, everything will fall apart.

But I have to endure and meet those expectations. Do something, anything.
As I do... ah. Again.
Cracks start to form.

"I" have to do even better.
So these cracks don't spread further.

Translation notes
The Japanese puts spaces between "I" and the rest of the sentence.
This is to put emphasis on Mutsumi's sense of self, and that this is the point of view of a specific alter who is struggling to fit into assigned "roles."

それでも何か　何かこたえなくちゃ
Kotae is not written in kanji here, so there's multiple ways you could read the line.
The official localization went with "I have to give them some kind of answer."
This isn't incorrect, but I don't think it gets the full nuance of the line across.
Kotae can also mean to endure/put up with something, or to meet expectations, and it felt important to me to get that across rather than just the idea that she has to say something to them. Because to Mutsumi, to force herself to be what others want her to be is a sort of endurance, and is what makes her (and inevitably the band) start to crack.

Thread of my translations of Ave Mujica's Snapshot Diaries Uika: The Lie of the Girl Who Loved the Stars

Once again, you've seen right through me.

We shouldn't be together.
And yet...
And yet, you still...!
Why are you so... Oh, you are always so—

The wind blows by.
In the distance, the whistle of the ferry rings out.

As for the sky... it's shaking.

As dusk draws ever nearer.

Translation notes
"You found me" / 見つけてくれた
This has a double meaning. Sakiko found her in a literal sense (going to the island), but in the context of Hatsune's story, Hatsune is referring to how Sakiko discovered her, Hatsune, the true self beneath her "Uika" mask.
This is why she's saying "again" and "just like that day you said I was like the moon."
As a child Sakiko saw through her mask, and saw "Hatsune," and again she has reached into the darkness and pulled at Hatsune's hand, not any mask of hers.
The Diary uses this line in repetition, so I opted to translate both readings in.

"Why are you so... Oh, you are always so—" / どうしてあなたは——いつも
For someone like Uika who has an obsession with using Sakiko's name, the fact she uses あなた here is quite significant. It has a sort of subtle intimacy to it. She's only ever used this for her in songs and as Doloris.
