I’m coming up on the final stretch of finishing the new website layout. My goal was update a lot of the art and make it easier to read and look at, which I feel like I’ve done pretty well. Still need some more people to go over it, but I hope to have it out sometime soon !!

010

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 03/11/2024

One of the main four characters. Ivan (He/Him). He has a brown hair with a green beanie. He’s wearing a green overcoat, with a white undershirt. He’s also wearing a tan overcoat

One of the main four characters. Eli (He/Him). He always wears sunglasses. His hair is brown and teal. He has five earrings in each ear, one nose piercing, one lip piercing, and one eyebrow piercing. He has a bandage on the right side of his face. He’s also wearing a blue shirt with two different shades of blue

Old height chart, I might redo this, kinda depends on if/when I have them time. I know I mentioned it earlier, but I’m currently redoing the old character profiles and working on concepts to redo the logo. #concept #wip #wipcomic #oc #ocart #digitalart

Old height chart

Eli-5’8
Nugget-5’0

Currently doing some comic panel studies, when I have the free time while at work. It’s pretty fun so far, but also weird since I’ve never really done anything like it before.

010

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 31/10/2024

I have sadly lost all of the concept drawings of Vincent, but if I find any old ones, I’ll try and post them

010

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 31/10/2024

Coloured concepts of Eli and a nugget. I really don’t know why I drew Eli so pale. I do really like how Nugget was drawn. They seem so silly (drawn by @anemonugget.bsky.social) #oc #concepts #wip #workinprogress #digitalart #art

Eli’s coloured concept. He’s face looks pretty much the same, he’s wearing a plain blue over jacket with a black undershirt. Grey pants and grey and blue shoes

Nugget is drawn in a chibi form. They are wearing a blue and tan jacket with flowers on it. They are also wearing a pair of white sweatpants with a chain and blue shoes. Nuggets characters was always suppose to be mainly pink, but since this drawing was based off of a real outfit they forgot to change the colours

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 31/10/2024

Some of the original concepts for the different characters. A lot of these are just kinda quick light and messy sketches I did when I was out of state #oc #concept #wip #workinprogress #digitalart #art

Concept Eli. Slouching wearing a long sleeve stripped shirt and a regular white shirt on top. It’s a very light and quick sketch I did about 2 years ago when I was out of state on a trip

Concepts of Ivan. He looks semi similar to his current version, but in the version he has messier hair and leaves and a twig in his hair. He also is wearing a jacket instead of his current day outfit.

Eli nugget and Vincent height chart.

Eli - 5’8

Nugget - 5’0 or 5’1

Vincent - 5’11

Ivan (not shown) - 5’9 or 5’10

Char (No Pronouns) Char is Nuggets long time friend from there hometown. Char is the first person Nugget will go to when they need somebody to talk to or need a voice of reason. #oc #digitalart #art #agender #lesbian

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 30/10/2024

Robert (He/She/They) Nugget meets Robert in their first period and while they don't become close till later on, he's a lot more important then they might seem #oc #digitalart #art #comic #genderfluid #bisexual

031

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 30/10/2024

Adalynn/Addie (She/Her) she is the older twin of Preston. I and many of my friends really like her design. She’s the top student at their school and is always there to help those along. #oc #characterdesign #digitalart #art #comic #wip

Full body drawing. She wears two belts and her pants start at the colour black and end with the colour light grey

031

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 30/10/2024

Preston (He/Him) he is the younger twin of Addie. He’s best friends with both Nico and Vincent. He is apart of the group that later helps Nugget learn more about the town and more about the people in it especially Ivan #oc #characterdesign #digitalart #art #comic #wipcomic

Full body drawing. He has half pink and yellow hair. He is covered in multiple different piercings and a split tong. He wears a black tank top and a loose long blue coat. He wears light yellow pants and bright pink strings attached to him

051

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 30/10/2024

Nico/Niko (They/Them) I really like their design, but they are sadly another season 2 character. Out of all the characters we have so far they are defiantly the most trusting and optimistic. #oc #characterdesign #digitalart #art #comic #wipcomic

Nico is looking forward, a character bust. They have blond hair with a dyed purple streak. One blonde eyebrow and one purple eyebrow. They have one bandage on their face and one on their neck. A white button up and a purple sweater vest.

Mostly the same info as the first drawing. This is a full body. They are wearing yellow pants, with the left pant leg rolled up so you can see their prosthetic leg

And finally the last of the s1 side characters Aiden (He/Him) he’s a bit of an ass, and spends more time than necessary thinking and reminding people that he's better than them. #oc #digitalart #art #wipcomic #comic

Concept drawing of Aiden, there have been some alterations, but it is mostly the same. The character is covered in different shades of green, black, and grey. He’s wearing black jeans with green pockets and green pads in his knees and a green hoodie with two different shades of green that has metal buttons on it.

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 27/10/2024

Next we have the lovely Gender (Jaz) (He/They/It) He is very much a brawn’s over brains kind of character, but he is loyal to a fault and will always be there when you need them the most #oc #art #digitalart #genderfluid #comic #wipcomic

This is a front view of the character jaz. He has his tongue stuck out. The character has small round sunglasses that are connected to a chain. They are also wearing an unbutton black over shirt with the sleeves rolled up and a grey undershirt. He also has two chain necklaces and on grey chocked

The first set of side characters, Flynn (They/He) is the eldest son of the city mayor, they are best friends with a character name Jaz. If you want to know anything about the small town of Lunfield you can just ask them. #oc #digitalart #characterdesign #comic #wip #wipcomic

Full body drawing of Flynn. They have a dark-ish grey shirt that goes up their neck and black and purple tech wear like pants

As promised I’m posting characters and concept art today. These were done by my lovely friend Nugget when we where still working out what the cover for the series was going to be #digitalart #art #wip #concept #conceptart

Concept sketch for the cover. Forest on the left and a school in the distance ok the right. Two characters stand but the school one in the forest and the main character in the middle

Same as the first concept, but the perspective and building designs are different

Different compositions and rough sketches that we could do for the cover. There are also some notes next to the drawings about different stuff, like what we wanted and didn’t want in the final

121

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 26/10/2024

If I’m not too busy at work tomorrow I’m gonna try and post some of the concept stuff and the different secondary characters. I have a decently sized log of art and stuff from the other platforms that I’ll need to get through. Also expect the link to the website to be posted soon !!

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 26/10/2024

And finally Vincent (He/Him +They/She when dressed fem) while he isn't the biggest in the first half of the story he can defiantly surprise you. I hope you enjoyed meeting our four mc's. Vincent is the most fun for me to draw #digitalart #art #oc #comic #wip #genderfluid #pansexual

041

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 26/10/2024

Eli (He/Him) is one of if not the weirdest character out of the cast. While the town itself is already weird as hell. You can always find him hanging out in the forest. He really must not know the rules of Lunfield #digitalart #art #oc #comic #wipcomic #transgender #gay #aroace

091

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 26/10/2024

Ivan (He/Him) The first person Nugget met/spoke to in Lunfield. Nugget doesn't actually know what he does, but he does really like hanging on the outskirts of the forest. I hope you like him and the rest of his friends. #oc #digitalart #art #comic #wipcomic

The Forest Spirit @forestspiritco.bsky.social · 26/10/2024

Nugget (They/Them) is the main character you meet and follow throughout the series. They were really fun to draw. The design was made by one of my friends helping me with this @anemonugget.bsky.social. #comic #maincharacter #oc #digitalart #nonbinary #pansexual #asexual

The different Forest Spirit Covers. Left is the the original made by @anemonugget.bsky.social Right was made by me in the style that we plan to use for the comic #digitalart #oc #story #art #wipcomic #comic #cover

The main character Nugget standing outside the forest holding their bag. They have fluffy ginger hair the goes to pink at the ends. They’re wearing a pink overcoat and a pink shirt that covers their neck. Nugget uses They/Them Pronouns

Same description has the other drawing just a bit dark and in a different art style

Hello this is the latest Forest Spirit page, it is a work in progress comic that me and my friends are working on, because of life it’s taken a bit of a back burner, but with me coming out of training at my new job I hope to be able to have more time to work on it and be more active on the platform
