On this day, we remember the 9/11 terror attacks 25 years ago, when 2,977 people lost their lives. We honour the memory of the victims and pay tribute to all whose lives were forever changed by this tragedy, including civilians, emergency workers, military personnel and their families. #NeverForget

One in every four Forces children across Scotland live somewhere that officially recognises their rights. Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, Scottish Borders, Angus, and most recently, Moray Council, have all adopted the Forces Children's Rights Charter.

We're so pleased to share that, as of yesterday, @moraycouncil.bsky.social has endorsed the Forces Children's Rights Charter. Moray is home to the highest number of children from Armed Forces families in Scotland, with 1,619 pupils in the area.

Regulate the platforms, not the children. The UK Government has announced plans to ban social media for under-16s. We support the aim of improving online safety, but when we asked Forces children and young people what they think, the answer wasn't simply to ban it.
