To our Culver CityBus family – we are devastated by the violent tragedy that took the life of a Culver CityBus operator. May their friends, family, and colleagues at Culver CityBus be carried by our collective support and love as they navigate grief and loss in the coming days.

The Chinese mid-autumn Moon Festival, or zhong qiu jie, falls this year on Monday, September 25. Here's a list of great mooncake bakeries you can get to on the bus.

Where to find the best mooncakes
The Chinese mid-autumn Moon Festival, or zhong qiu jie, falls this year on Monday, September 25.One of the traditions of this holiday is to give mooncakes to friends and loved ones. These are small pastries stuffed with lotus, dates, or red bean, and maybe a salted duck egg yolk. You’re not supposed to buy them for yourself, so if you want to try them, you’ll have to give them to someone you think will share with you!Luckily for us, we live in one of our country’s delicious mooncake epicenters — the San Gabriel Valley. Our buses can’t take you to the moon, but they can definitely get you to a mooncake or three. 85C Bakery CaféClaremont: Line 480, Indian Hill Blvd and American Ave - Stops 1825 and 1826Hacienda Heights: Line 185 or Line 282, Colima Rd and Manor Gate Rd - Stops 1019 and 1020West Covina: Line 281 or Line 480, Citrus Ave and S Garvey Ave - Stop 2847 (Line 281 north and Line 480 west), Citrus Ave and S Garvey Ave - Stop 2847 (Line 281 south)99 Ranch MarketHacienda Heights: Line 185 or Line 282, Colima Rd and Manor Gate Rd - Stops 1019 and 1020Rowland Heights: Line 178 or Line 289, Nogales St and Walnut Dr - Stop 2902 (Line 178 west and Line 289 east) or Nogales St and San Jose Ave E - Stop 2086 (Line 178 east and Line 289 west) JJ BakeryHacienda Heights: Line 185, Line 282, or Line 285, Hacienda Blvd and Halliburton Rd - Stop 1672 (Lines 185 and 285 N and Line 282 W), Halliburton Rd and Hacienda Blvd - Stop 3130 (Line 282 E), or Hacienda Blvd and Newton St - Stops 1684 and 1685Rowland Heights: Line 178, Line 289, or Line 482, Colima Rd and Nogales St - Stop 1027 (Line 482 E), Colima Rd and Nogales St - Stop 2832 (Line 178 E, Lines 289 and 482 W), or Nogales St and Colima Rd - Stop 2827 (Line 178 W, Line 289 E)Kee Wah BakeryArcadia: Line 187, Huntington Dr and Baldwin Ave - Stops 1759 and 1760Rowland Heights: Lines 178 and 289, Nogales St and Walnut Dr - Stop 2902 (Line 178 west and Line 289 east) or Nogales St and San Jose Ave E - Stop 2086 (Line 178 east and Line 289 west) T S EmporiumCity of Industry: Line 178, Line 289, or Line 482, Colima Rd and Albatross Rd - Stops 991 and 2893Rowland Heights: Lines 178 and 289, Nogales St and Daisetta St - Stops 129 and 2080Wing Hop FungArcadia: Line 187, The Shops at Santa Anita - Stop 2439 中秋快乐
