Properly rubbish the club still have to put these messages out in 2026 but here we are. This fixture in 2025 was also blighted by homophobic comments by own fans. All Leeds, Aren’t We? Your words matter. #LUFC #MOT #ALAW 🤍💛💙
Ahead of today's fixture with Brighton & Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium, Leeds United would like to remind supporters that we have a zero-tolerance policy towards the use of any homophobic or discriminatory language, chanting, abuse or gestures and condemn this behaviour.

Following an incident of discrimination in March 2023, in our Premier League fixture at Elland Road, the club was fined £150,000 and provided with an FA Action Plan to help improve supporter behaviour moving forwards and try to prevent recurrences.

Sadly in 2026, homophobia has still not been fully eradicated. By taking part in discrimination, you could be committing a criminal offence and will face lengthy club ban, so please think about your actions and the consequences both individually and for the club.

Leeds United stewards will be present at Saturday’s fixture, and any form of discrimination should be immediately reported to your nearest steward. You can also report incidents via Brighton’s text line at 07880 196442.

A statement from Football v Homophobia and on behalf of our campaign’s Football Pride community, in response to the shocking attack at Christopher Street Day Berlin. 🩷⚫️ #CSDBerlin #BerlinPride #FvH2026 #FvT2026
Following the horrifying attack at Christopher Street Day Berlin, our thoughts are with the victims, their loved ones, and all those affected.

Pride brings our LGBTQ+ community together with our allies across the world, not least our football clubs, teams, supporters groups and friends in Berlin and wider Germany.

We will always need spaces in which we can exist authentically, from the streets to the terraces, in parades and on pitches.

We post this statement in a spirit of absolute solidarity and in the knowledge that we must never stop fighting for equality and freedom, everywhere.
