Well, that's a fun new failure mode. Had to reset the electricity meter and one of my breakers had popped. Flicked it back on, sockets came back to life, breaker immediately popped again…but the sockets remain energised.

Managed to scramble together some very last minute photography setup for the eclipse. Was a bit sad I discovered it way too late and couldn't go to the path of totality, but this was still really cool.

Had a blast at #ffxivfanfest, hope to be back for the next one in 2–3 years. The concerts were like…75–80% of the reason I went (and seeing the extended trailer in a crowd another 10% or so). Did not disappoint, I hadn't been to a concert in ages and seeing live music is nice :)

managed to get a medal on the final remix in rhythm heaven groove, pretty happy with that :3 now to go back and get medals on all of them and slowly perfect them i have… 4 or 5 perfects so far, and one night mode perfect

Very glad to have an A/C unit today… Should've turned it on yesterday too, tried to get away with just opening windows and balcony door and put a fan in the door, but still got up to 31.2°C indoors.
