The idea we allow fraud and corruption in sport to completely undermine the premier league and beyond because we can’t lose money from the Middle East is the whole problem. It is the problem that started when Abramovich landed then Abu Dhabi and Qatar. Europe sold football. Infantino still is

Jorge Jesus and Ronaldo was always going to be fractious. Suspect one of the reasons for the hire was to finally get Ronaldo to go. Long overdue retirement

How can you be concerned about losing owners that probably committed industrial scale fraud. We should be saying football needs protecting with legitimate owners. The ramblings on about Everton after in a way suggesting City may be innocent also dreadful.

The hubris entitlement and disrespect being shown by the NBA is incredible..essentially telling European basketball to move aside do a deal or we will drive you out of existence. No one wants a dull 80 game NBA Europe. People love the atmosphere in Kaunas Greece Turkey and Belgrade as it is now

Quite, it’s a bit like saying we don’t like the offside rule, and preferred football before it had offside, so we paid off some Lino’s to not enforce it for us, and we think that’s fair enough.

There are people saying oh its the rules that are the issue they needed breaking in business you invest. No. An owner can't secretly invest in a business. Fraud and false accounting. In business their model wouldn't survive. Also they signed up to the rules

Man City could well go on to win the UCL this year. What a mess and what will those clubs like Milan and Roma who were forced to sell their best players for ffp and ended up in the wilderness for years? While their league's revenue dwindled as a result and another grew.

I have always said that the reason there are so many scandals in Italy is that the authorities constantly look for corruption. No country on earth "wire taps" more (fact). There is corruption in football in England. Now it is time to act and keep looking

foolsrushin.bsky.social @foolsrushin.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

During this period I heard European clubs say so many times we can’t compete with the money Man City have, turns out they could. Their commercial revenue outstripped City

020

foolsrushin.bsky.social @foolsrushin.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

When you read the independent commission’s findings what comes across is the City “project” was failing, they were not taking off so came up with a systematic way of increasing funding to the club and reducing costs, all fake. Without that the whole thing would have withered in the vine.

010

foolsrushin.bsky.social @foolsrushin.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

All those clubs that have been hamstrung and held back across Europe by ffp, forced to sell, forced to sell too City whilst City simply circumvented rules

300

foolsrushin.bsky.social @foolsrushin.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Is a pity it is different organisations as really the points penalty should lead to relegation this season and then be another -30 next year in the championship. Going down for one season and then coming back to money is no punishment. Also they should be forced to change owner

000

foolsrushin.bsky.social @foolsrushin.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

Thry will try and get off on legal technicalities like they did with Uefa. They were still guilty with Uefa. If they hadn't found the legal loop holes they would never have gone on to UCL glory etc.

Is so angry at it all and that their is still this defiance. The damage they have done seeking to dominate football, to grind it to the ground. This feeling they were above the rules. Guardiola deeply complicit not innocent. Systematic cheating thst has forever changed the football landscape.

000

foolsrushin.bsky.social @foolsrushin.bsky.social · 29/09/2026

They can't just give City a fine and a transfer ban. To do so would be inconsistent with previous penalties

Throughout the entirety of Guardiola's stay at City, a manager we were repeatedly told was the worlds best and responsible for their success, Diego Simeone was by far the highest paid coach in Europe. It just isn't credible. Nor was their commercial income or the amount accounted for Haaland.

Dan Lawrence was pulled out mid match against Somerset by England. A decision that could have impacted the direction of the county championship title. He isn't even playing. The contempt and disregard for county #cricket is beyond the pale. Counties need to fight back. An ECB that cares about them

Would be good for the media to more clearly set out that being guilty means the entirety of City's success, the whole club is built on sporting fraud. Add that to Chelsea and two decades of English football and the very foundation of PL tv details are tainted. It is that serious
