𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 03/01/2025Friday This is the first time one these ended up being pretty much just a single genre 010
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Fate/Hollow Ataraxia Amazing how just by having a hub and a few other things the concept in Kagetsu Tohya becomes much better This was fun and Nasu's writing still hits that soft spot that makes me overlook most of the problems I could have with this 110
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Jawbreaker - Dear You I'm surprised that this is such a divisive album, you could say this is too clean sounding but their but their identity is still here, though, putting focus on a more pop-punk sound. I definitely prefer Bivouac but by no means is it a bad album 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Jawbreaker - 24 Hour Revenge Therapy I was expecting to like this album a bit more than I did but it's good 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Jawbreaker - Chesterfield King Some songs that were included in the original pressing of Bivouac because of label shenanigans, it's pretty good 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Jawbreaker - Bivouac This album is peak Post-hardcore to me, the edge, the rawness, the grittyness, the energy, it's all here and sounds amazing and really unique Really big improvement from their debut and I'm really excited to see how the other albums evolve their sound 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Monoral - Ammonite I listened to this EP when I first got into the band and didn't really like it and ignored it ever since Now I gotta admit I'm quite found of it, it doesn't sound like their later works that I love but still for a debut EP it sounds really good 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Jets To Brazil – Perfecting Loneliness I think this album has a more emo vibe to it compared to the last two albums but still lyrically the same and it all converses well and naturally with each other and just makes my favorite album from them it's beautiful melodic rock 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Sonatine This one is up there with Hana-Bi, much less violent compared to these past movies despite being a Yakuza movie, yet the reality and nature of the line of work is still heavily present and it crushes the characters. There is no tough guy, there is no winning, no glory 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025BiSH - GOiNG TO DESTRUCTiON This is their last album, honestly I'm surprised on how consistent they discography ended up being, I enjoyed this much more than BiS (which I already liked a lot) There's some singles that I didn't listen to but I'm way too lazy to check all of them 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Boiling Point (1990) This film just bewilders me, it feels so disjointed but also makes sense, despite being linear it doesn't feel like it flows in a natural way, every scene is bizarre, silly and at times even deranged I really liked this movie despite all the confusion 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025BiSH - THE GUERRiLLA BiSH I don't have anything to say but damn these album covers are so damn good 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025BiSH - KiLLER BiSH Actually might be my favorite album so far even factoring in BiS, the instrumentals go hard, the vocals go hard for every single member, the tracklist flows really nicely and there's a lot of variation Really fucking good 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Danny Brown - Atrocity Exhibition This is a wild album, the whole thing sounds weird but in a good way and I really like it, it's just so different from anything I listened to and it just sticks 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025BiSH - FAKE METAL JACKET Pretty good album, a few re-recordings here an there and the new songs are very very good 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 01/01/2025Chappell Roan – The Rise And Fall Of A Midwest Princess 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 20/12/2024BiSH - Brand-new idol SHiT This album is exactly what I had in mind when I learned idol had an alternative scene, it has an indie/alternative vibe to it while still maintaining the idol sound intact also the production has a roughness to it at times and I really like that 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 20/12/2024Doechii – Alligator Bites Never Heal Besides her feature on Chromakopia I've never heard of Doechii before but then her name kept popping up specially after the Grammy's announcement and yeah I'm not disappointed this is really fucking good 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 20/12/2024BiS - NEVER MiND This album has an almost entire new roster with only a single original member of the 3rd Gen being present, but still it's probably one of my favorite albums from BiS, they experiment a lot with new sounds here and I think they all came out pretty well 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 20/12/2024BiS - BiS DiVE into ROCKS This is a cover album and while I'm not that familiar with most of the bands covered here it's still a pretty fun listen 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 20/12/2024BiS - ANTi CONFORMiST SUPERSTAR Just a mini-album, it's pretty good honestly so far the 3rd Gen has had a very solid run 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 20/12/2024BiS – Brand-New Idol Society This is the debut of the 3rd Generation and honestly probably my favorite debut album out of the 3 gens, and very closely tied with IDOL is DEAD We got some heavy vocals going on here which I love and some honestly unexpected sounds that are very good 100
𝐅𝐀𝐁𝐑𝐘𝐑 @foolfabryr.bsky.social · 20/12/2024BiS - Re:STUPiD I liked most of the songs here but more so individually rather than as an album experience, there's a lot of different sounding tracks that while still sort of cohesive still didn't flow well to me like they did on their past albums 100
