What I learned about Iran-Contra at the time, was on my own, usually from friends who were in model UN, or from reading ahead in class textbooks. I'm also not joking when i say this, but I learned a lot, LOT more about Iran-Contra later from playing Metal Gear Solid 5, then from any teacher I had.

We never got to it. Every American history/social studies class I had got stalled around the Civil War. If we were lucky, some of the industrial revolution. One middle school teacher quickly talked about the 1st gulf war, but that was when Clinton bombed Iraq in December of '98

I remember seeing only two episodes back in the mid 90s, and then never again! I cant remember if it came on super early, or my local CBS affiliate just pulled it from the Saturday morning lineup.

My friend had this game. I loved how there was one aspect that let you play god with a biodome, by either accelerating it into a toxic wasteland, or using it to pick out a grotesque animal for arena fighting 😂

What worked for me is to set a time to play them. It's after 8pm and I got what I needed done for the day? Then I'm gonna enjoy myself. I know everyone's different so find something that works for you. Learn to kill the enforcer in your head.

I have this thought a lot. I get it, but I've learned to not beat myself up over it now that I'm older. You're supposed to relax. A lot of games these days are interactive movies/tv. Balancing your time is a skill they don't teach you growing up, more often it was yelled at you through obedience.

This is just me airing a personal grievance, but how stupid does someone have to be when they go "Well, I still think the problem is X" when you very clearly show them that "No, its not X, thr problem is Y, and this is how you fix it." And its always, ALWAYS boomers with this take.

My guess its trying to pander to people who like Critical Role & it's animated series? Also what I looked up, its pretty much Rick & Morty alumni. I'm glad those people are getting work too, but when its humor & art tends to blend together, at what point is it am I just watching the same show again?
