"They are." Je finished the snack quicker than he could take the dollar from his wallet. In fact, he grabbed a few more. "Can I get another?" He offered the cash. "This is going well for you?"

His arms drop, but he's not hurt. Instead, he comes to his next offer. "Want a drink?"

100

"Nah a donut is fine, thanks." He had a look around as he held the fresh goods, adding. "How much?" He didn't mind, finally he actually visibly relaxed more now he told her about the other. He could finally move away from what happened. "Oh, ok, this is good." He said around the donut.

.... He opens his arms, offering a hug.

They glowed brighter as he spun, unleashing a shower of sharp, radiant spikes down upon the cult embers. The crowd was finally thinning. "We just need to hold out a bit longer." He spoke as he landed next to Advantage determination written on his face. He was actually hopeful.

The onslaught continued, and as she shouted, he quickly ducked for cover. "Wow. That was...something." The sheer intensity of the display of her power left him momentarily speechless. --

He'd only just started to know who was looking back at him in that reflection too.

Pulling the eyepatch off, he cringes. The wound is still fresh, still sore.... He can't recognise himself in the mirror.

"My eye. And threw the efforts of everything we did in our faces. I saw what you wanted. You wanted to give into his grasp." Isaac stooped to the other's level. "Your friend will come soon. You have some supplies here. But that is all. We are done. Goodbye." And with a flash, he disappeared.

and as he executed a pirouette mid-air, he unleashed a barrage of hard light spikes. The projectiles shot forth, striking several of the advancing cult members just as he landed with a thud. “Advantage, behind you!” he shouted, urgency in his voice to warn her of rapid oncomers.

Isaac sprang onto the banister, sliding down with a swift grace that defied the chaos around him. As he launched himself into the air above Advantage, he caught fleeting glints of the weapons she had stuck to the ceiling. Orbs of light formed in his hands, pulsing with energy, --

Sorry. Eye, other injuries, breaking into the church of HIM. Had to lay low. How have you been?

"Father is coming. He wants you alive, but not your fellow sinner." And the crowd surged forward towards the pair, blending the preacher into the mass.

"Fallen Angel!" The oke at the front shouted, his voice echoing off the grotesque walls. "You dare bring your heretics into this holy space? To take away another gift given to us?" His eyes burned with fervor as he turned to the crowd, his voice raising. --

Down that opening that door, and going through wouldn't be that simple. As if to answer his unspoken fears, the main doors of the hall swung open with a boom, a wave of HIM members poured in, carrying am array of weapons and each wearing a twisted grin that sent shivers down his spine. --

Each step was a dark dim reminder of the painful memories that haunted him. Torture, deceit, murder, the weight of what he had done in this places name forever threatening to drown him in it. Shaking his head of the thoughts, his gaze met Advantage's as he asked. "You Ready?" But he knew deep --

He watched as Advantage moved with an effortless grace, her array of tools glinting in the dim light and her knowledge of hand-to-hand combat unfolding like an intricate dance. Each motion told a story of skill and confidence, and Isaac couldn’t help but feel impressed. --

He pointed toward the staircase that spiraled upward, it's steps worn from years of use. At the top was golden double doors, gleaming ominously in the light. Warren's work. "He'll be behimd those doors....But prepare for the worst. This feels too easy."

100

Formed a sinking pit in his stomach, seeing this place again. It was one place of many that he lived. “Alright.” Isaac said, mostly to refocus himself. "You take thos three I’ll take the other three, sound good? Then we’ll head up those stairs in the middle.” --

Sunlight filtered through gross stained glass windows that lined the hall, casting unsettling colours across the room. The images were a chaotic blend of religious iconography and disturbing symbols, creating an atmosphere that was both captivating and repulsive. All featuring his father. It --

The walls were draped in intricate golden banners, their colours glaring and uninviting, while the floors were covered in intricate mosaics that depicted twisted scenes of worship, each piece more jarring than the last. Some resembling things Isaac had done. Things that had been done to him. --

Peering around the next door, Isaac surveyed the sprawling hall before him. Six members of the HIM lingered, their mutterings echoing. Their figures contrasted sharply with the hideous decor that surrounded them, although sparse it felt overwhelming. --

THREAD CONTINUED FROM; x.com/AdvantagedSa... @advantagedsaves.bsky.social Isaac nodded, his eyes narrowing as he took the lead, deftly maneuvering around the narrow corners. With a swift motion, he dispatched two HIM members silently, their bodies crumpling to the ground without a sound. --

Sore. Last time I help anyone's random friend. Sigh. I missed you.

000

I'm done." Slowly, his hand adjusted the eyepatch, brows furrowing. "He'll appreciate seeing you though." He nodded slowly, eyeing the donut. "Sure. I'm starving."

100

"I forced light through Warren until I literally removed most of the....influence on him." Isaac blunty stated. "He's a mess. Confused, scared, hurt, but he's getting better, slowly. He's going to need help, but..." Somehow, his tone shifted to become more serious. "It's not coming from me. --

000

Isaac seethes. The sharp exhale echoes in the room. "No. You didn't hurt Cienn. She is the reason you're alive. You hurt others." He stepped into the light, revealing his face, one sharp blue eye watching him carefully. "/What/ do you remember?"

100

"Hi, Cienn." He nodded. Awkward as ever. "How are you?"
