This is a labor of love. After years of chasing the "vanilla" experience in this hobby, I decided to go out of my way to understand the references that surrounded me: Tupý, Charrua, Guarani, Inca and Gaucho cultures mainly. And on top of that, I've handdrawn 30+ different illustrations for the book.

I had seen this kite design in a museum in Melakka and it has stuck with me ever since (too bad I don't have a better picture of it). It's so cool to see all the different kite designs from Malaysia. Such a cool idea you had with this creature design!
