Just did a quick study trying to learn the basic shapes from pictures, because my first sketches are very ugly and I have to spend so long fixing them before moving to the next stage, so I'm working on that ignoring everything else for a bit, hopefully doing this will help

Decided to bake bread again after not doing it for the whole summer because of the heat, wildly overshoot the amount of water and now I am going to be baking a massive amount of bread, lmao, at least we will be eating high quality bread for a few days xD

I want to spend some time sharing something, I have been struggling with artblock and finding reasons to draw/paint beyond my logical goals, it is foolish to pursue art just based purely on logic, you need that emotional spark in you.

#digitalart #artistonbsky #furry This is my first actual art of my sona with the outfit I designed and everything, not sure about the colors themselves but I think they work well enough. I hope you like it! I spent 19hs making this one and parts of it over and over.

Using 3D models as reference or tracing over them is actually a really fun way to learn and nail tough perspectives. I create my own models too so I learn a little 3D as well. They don't have to be super detailed either. Here is a sketch of my flightless gryphon and a generic dragon head.

P1- So I was watching a video by Hardy Fowler on what artist should draw and all that stuff, and made me reflect on how much has evolved the schools of thought regarding how to learn to draw and paint, I've been benefiting from it immensely since we switched from "draw every day"
