Out of all the games I’ve seen at #PAXWEST this year, none were more personally captivating than #FogTown. Seeing hands-on how they’re creating this FMV choose your own adventure was pretty cool, and by far the most original game here.

We had an amazing time doing a live playthrough of the demo for A Rum Case in Fogtown at the FMV Game panel at PRGE last month, with everyone in attendance participating via shouting out decisions. Some exciting announcements are brewing, and the cast and dev team are both growing!

Our wonderful community on Discord is putting together a very special event on April 4th, entirely run by fans — a Fogtown anniversary celebration filled with art, games, and more! Here's a flyer they put together with what to expect.

A flyer with details for the Fogtown Fest 2025, an online, all-day event planned for April 5th. Flyer text as follows:

Hey there fellow Fogtownies! In honour of the third anniversary of Fogtown's YouTube channel, we(*)'ve decided to put together a little bit of an event we're calling Fogtown Fest (which will hopefully run every year on the anniversary given all goes well!).

Really, this event just aims to encourage the creation and sharing of fanworks within the fandom, which means all you have to do if you want to participate is create some kind of fanwork inspired by Fogtown (fanart, fanfic, whatever else you'd like - anything goes!) and post it on the 5th of April, tagging it with #FogtownFest2025 and #Fogtown.

We've provided a few prompts on the right that we thought you all might like, but by no means are they any sort of requirement - just there to inspire creativity if need be!

We also intend to host a bit of a games night over on the Unofficial Fogtown Fan Community server, and more details will be provided over there once we iron out the creases - so jump on in there if you're interested in participating, but even if not, it's really just a lovely place to be :) we're always open to newcomers!

Prompts:
Swords
Fish & Chips
Blockson's Painting
Found Family
Home

*"we" referring to the Admin & Mod team of the Unofficial Fogtown Fan Community discord server - WOW that's a long name lol - with collaboration from Fogtown's creative team

We know we've been quiet - we're doing a wee bit of behind-the-scenes housekeeping before much else can happen. But things are moving ahead in exciting ways. The videogame team is growing, and we had a wonderful festival debut at the McMinnville Short Film Festival at the end of February!

Blockson looks incredibly startled as Sherblock tells him a shocking secret.

At last, our Fogtown TV pilot will find its home online on December 18th! 📺 Fogtown is a handcrafted #mystery show with puppet sleuths and Muppets + Wallace & Gromit + Sherlock Holmes spirit. We've been developing it since the start of the pandemic, and are so pleased with how it turned out! 🧶🔎💀📚
