This has been the biggest problem I’ve been having with making any progress with personal projects. So many projects unity blender video editing would just get corrupted or I will lose all of the progress despite how much I would save. So glad that hopefully all of this will be behind me.

Been super busy IRL. I’ve been dealing with the slow decline and frequent blue screening of my computer for the past year. It got to the point where I would blue screen every 5-10 minutes. Didn’t have the time to fix it, so I sent it into a shop, the never overclocked with a D15 cooler CPU died.

Kind of wild, but the whole pitch the switched a digital was that it was a higher quality and it didn’t degrade so you could have it forever… now everyone is switching to physical media because corporations are degrading the quality of digital media and taking them away because they want money.

As someone who works on the "industry side" of things I understand why they aren't quitting X and moving to Bluesky. The main reason is because they instantly expect to get the same metrics on Bluesky as they were on X, hey aren't willing to put in the ground work to build up a new platform.

I know I am on a marketing list for influencers, I work on the other side of the industry. You would assume there is some kind of consent or initial contact that happens before you're added to some random agencies list. Nope. I instantly just block the company reaching out. Report them as spam.

Please don't use AI to generate a thumbnail for your video. Ethics aside, they just look bad and lack that "je ne sais quoi" of authenticity. It's just lazy and gives off the vibes of buying something on Amazon and giving it to someone claiming you "made it yourself". People can innately tell.

Whenever you get a unknown call to your phone. Pick up, mute your microphone. Don't say anything. Odds are if it is a scammer they will just hang up. Or if it is an auto dialer it will also hang up. Real humans will be uncomfortable with the silence and say "Hello?" before you do.
