Suicide Prevention Month

In February 2015, I found myself in a woodland clearing in the New Forest staring a rope swing suspended by blue nylon twine from the bough of an oak, dripping with morning dew.

On the surface, I was at my most successful, but anyone paying attention would know that the wheels were coming off. I had stopped the car and walked into the woods with the aim of ending the noise and the pain.

As I walked towards the rope swing, determined to do what I knew I must do, a spaniel broke cover followed by its owner, who bid me a cheery "Good morning!"
Luckily the spell was broken.

I was shaking and returned to the car in tears.

The wheels did come off. It was terrible and humiliating, but I did not die.

Every time I officiate at the funeral of someone who has died by suicide, I have a little moment of thanks for an excited spaniel and a cheery "Good Morning!"

Participation Eligibility:
• 18 years or older

• Be a football fan of a men's professional football team based in England or Wales
Participation Involves:
• Participating in a one-on-one interview relating to your experience as a trans football fan
• The interview can take place online via Microsoft Teams or over the phone and should take around 60 to 90 minutes.

We've had some worrying news from people who have donated to our GoFundMe, raising funds to put on more than 30 shows at the Edinburgh Fringe by North East comedians. It seems that they have been emailed to say they are being refunded and are GFM amount was reduced to zero. We've looked into it and the problem is now fixed and won't happen again, but the money is still gone.
But, with the fringe in about a week, we are now around £1600 in a hole, we've used the money for brochures, tech and lots of other things. We are a small non profit CIC, this could be devastating for us. We absolutely WILL still be doing th...
