Introduce yourself with four footballers.

After ten games, we are the most over-performing team in Europe's big five leagues. While scoring only one more goal than our chances deserved, the form of keeper Kastenmeier has been incredible. As a result we are 11 points ahead of where we logically should be, based on our performances. #FM24

After building a side full of hard-working and aggressive team players, I thought I'd give us the luxury of a couple of highly promising flair players in the January 2027 window. This will give us more flexibility to change games where we need to. #FM24 #ImmerWeiter

It would be an easy thing to implement too. Comparing players head to head on statistics is there, but it's only the basics. It wouldn't take a lot to make this a customisable page where you can select the specific stats you want to compare.

It's time to bring this one back for #FM24. Football Manager players when losing the first league game of the season after hours of preparation and a great run of friendly results...

#FM24 tip. Actually use the opposition reports which appear in your inbox to tweak your approach, even just through Opposition Instructions. In this example, I could keep our best striker on the opposite side from Pfeiffer, Close Down Jasper and Krivak and start the game with a Positive mentality.

After help from the wonderfully gifted @fmgrasshopper.coffeehousefm.com, I've managed to use my domain for a custom handle on here. Cheers Tony!

One striker passes to the other with a De Bruyne-esque 200 IQ ball ⚽️. Lovely. #FM24

Even if you are not a stats person, this is a quick and easy avenue to find players you can traditionally scout and judge a player by their attributes and scout reports for consistency, injury proneness, personality etc. I wrote about it here a few years ago. footballmanager.com/the-byline/d...

#FM24 tip. Use the Data Hub > Player screen to scout for high-performing players at specific actions in your division in seconds. For example, find the strikers who have the highest non-penalty xG per 90, or the midfielders who have been the busiest and most effective tacklers.

Prior to his muscle strain injury putting him out for around four weeks, Badamosi had scored 9 goals from 7.64 xG and scoring at a rate of 1.7 goals per 90 minutes. It's his ability to convert set pieces in the air that is deadly. Average match rating so far this season is 7.93.

It wasn't to be. Just too strong for us, and we don't have the same attacking threat without the aerial prowess of our talisman, Muhammed Badamosi (injured).

Football in Sun and Shadow is the thematic antithesis of Football Hackers. No numbers or data, simply articulate poetry about the beauty of the game. Sounds wank, but it's genuinely incredible.

Facing Napoli in the Champions League. How times have changed in 2026 for Viktoria Köln! We managed a 0-0 away draw at Dinamo on match day one, but this will be a much tougher test. #FM24

This was mine. Then it was CM97/98 and I’ve never looked back…apart from that period where we all also played Premier Manager, LMA, FA Premier League Manager 2000 and a few other challengers who never quite toppled it.

I know the feeling. I support Rangers and United. My grandparents lived in Sale all through my childhood, that’s my link there. Think I’m nine here!
