I ventured to Tottenham Hale - quite a journey, from my neck of the woods in Crystal Palace - and I visited the L1R studio welcomed by founder Filippo Baglini, show presenter Ilaria Fratoni and colleague Rosita Dagh. It was fun!

Different vibes tonight than in Bagheria when I attended the preview of Baaria. At that time in 2009 I made a live reporting for the main Sicilian TV news channel. Lots of insights and backgrounds. I see connections, ideed. The same approach to childhood than in Malena, too!

I also loved the idea of foreign stories becoming domestic by connecting global audience. And her recipe for Journalism now: Clarity + Immagination + Hope. Meaning that facts, creativity and faith that we can change the future will make a difference. Her words resonated in me

🙌 Celebrating grade B in my @nctj Level 5 Diploma elective module. While 63 mark is not the top (the grading system is A-F, 70-0) I think it is a pretty good result for a bilingual speaker, in particular while juggling young children and freelance work.

With 7 activities completed in a day at LEGOLAND, I can say that in my opinion is unfair to children: they have to wait for hours while standing in a queque, for an activity which is beautiful in itself but lasts a couple of minutes. They need to invent a queque-coping Lego so kids are entertained

#LEGOLAND is big and very well kept, the app is helpful and there is plenty to do. We are blessed with a wonderful autumn sunny day. But hey sure there is nothing to improve 80 minutes time waiting for the Lego Driving School (pictured) and other mayor attractions? Kids are so patient, more than me

Visiting #LEGOLANDWindsor on the first day of October #HalfTerm with my daughters aged 4 & 6 yo. It is hell. Not only 80mins wait for an attraction at peak times but lots of ongoing works at the parking site - it took forever

#Camilleri became blind but it he was used to listening to #stories and radio so he managed this life relatively well despite it. He read circa 6 thousands books in his life (someone counted them) and mentioned many of them in his #Montalbano series

There is even the controversial politician #Andreotti in #Camilleri’s life, according to #LucaCrovi. He helped the young #Camilleri after he was kicked out from the acting school in #Rome: he was found naked in his girlfriend’s bed - lost his scholarship and had to find a job..

#Camilleri started his career as a poet. Then #theatre and #radio kept him busy. He wrote #novels but at first collected refusals by some publishers. So when he finally became famous as a #writer he kept them waiting :) #Camilleri100
