It was nice of Iamaleava to pass to Oregon 😬 I hate to see these guys get injured. I saw the Moore hit a couple weeks ago - just brutal and should not have happened. I'm a long suffering Bruin, but Chesney has turned the team around in just a few months. I can now enjoy watching them play again

It's easy to get excited and hit reply before proofing. I know I'm guilty of this 😞 Watching a great college football game is an added distraction. All I can say is I'm thrilled to see my Bruins leading the Ducks, but neither team's offense looks good. I wasn't expecting a low scoring game....

They've been brainwashed to think that govt funding for anything is a "handout." Handouts means you are reliant on the govt for support. But they seem to like having roads, schools, and the military all paid by govt. Do we want to make our own roads, practice medicine, home school?

Perhaps that's theoretically correct. However, despite numerous technological advances creating greater productivity, when have US companies ever willingly returned profits to workers or to the government in the form of taxes? Companies have faught shorter work weeks for years

Ok, sure, it may allow for it, but companies will never allow their profits to flow to citizens or workers so that they can work less. The US already has enough wealth to enable low and mid income families to have more resources, be paid more, etc., but companies lobby against these tax policies
