Have a picture of my mum's puppy playing in the sheets

A German shepherd puppy swaddled in a fitted sheet on the floor, looking at the camera with a lil paw peeking out

We said goodbye to our sweet Pinyon today. We had him 11 years; had him since he was 4 months old. He was such a wonderful boy and we already miss him so much 💔

WIP Wednesday!

Husk was really starting to get used to his earthly job. He liked the break from Hell and his duties as an "official" there. It was nice to go back to a simpler times. He and Angel even shared an apartment earth-side, and only had to return to hell every week or so to check in on things and allow Charlie to come up and stalk her father herself.
Tomorrow would be one of those days. Husk was set to enjoy his last night of work before his weekend back on duty, but about halfway through the night the hair on the back of his neck stood up and he glanced at the door in time to see a familiar tall figure coming in. Just great, exactly what he needed today. He was just turning away to grumble to his coworker when Alastor stepped past the host stand. Husk blinked.
Alastor’s hair was in disarray, his clothing rumpled. He looked like Angel used to after a long night of work. Husk scooped up the bottle of rye and had it ready by the time Alastor reached the bar.
“You look like shit,” he said, sliding the glass to Alastor as he dropped onto the stool.
“Nn-nn,” Alastor groaned, holding out his hand. “Bottle.”
Husk stared at him for a moment, trying to get a read, but Alastor held his head low and slightly turned away so his face was obscured. “If it’s that kind of night, ya sure ya want the good bottle?”
Alastor shrugged, hand still outstretched. “Don’t care. Just make it strong.”
Husk tucked away the rye and grabbed the Black Velvet whiskey instead. Alastor accepted the bottle and without even looking at it drank straight from the bottle.
What the hell?

I've written sort of consistently for the last couple of years but did really start to peter off the last half of last year. January I lost 250 lbs of shit and suddenly had the motivation and joy to write again! Thank you to the HH fandom for giving me a place to find friends again <3
