Stock acquisition date is already implemented but perhaps a bit hidden: it's the little "Created" field on the stock overview page. As for references, you can certainly use the Note field.

Thanks a lot for the feedback and suggestions!! Last week I have added bulk stock flipping per tray/box (with or without label printing). That was suggested by other users too and it's a great idea indeed.

Is that a 4 or a 7? Is this balanced or not? Use a professional labeller for all your stocks and crosses. No more messy handwriting and unlabeled vials. Keep track of flies' history and genealogy. Get email reminders for virgin collection or stock flipping.
