Looking after a friend's Bruno de Jura dog the next few afternoons. She's a sweetie and Théo adores her (she's his second best girl), but as she only 'speaks' french, we have to remember to command in french. Théodore is bilingue, he ignores us in french and english😀

On today's dog walk, Théo was walking ahead, cleared the trees, then stopped, looked into field, looked at me. I cleared the trees and there was a young stag standing about 25m away. Told Théo to 'Leave' and the stag walked, then ran away. Good Théo!, though he'll be out of the vizsla hunter club.

Just took our old sofa to the decheterie. Surprisingly emotional because 4 of our 5 vizslas have grown up with that sofa, when in France, which we chose as it had an ideal, flat, dog sleeping area at the end. 18 years of puppies and young, then adult, vizslas, has taken it's toll though.
