iiinova — where your digital self keeps evolving

In the late 1990s, I began to carve canes and hiking sticks for others. A demand item has been the Passport Mask cane. Here’s a display of a few of them.

I have been creating Shadow Boxes for years. These are a few from 2000. Symbology is always present (if you look for the meaning). Art is life😎

Mr. Rufus Lewis was a family friend and played in the Negro Leagues in multiple positions. This is a piece I carved years ago in his memory. Purchased by a baseball fan. 😎

When people keep referring to Africa as a country, there are in fact 54 nations. Here’s a list for your reference.

Looks like some don’t think things go better with coke as pushback follows anti DEI ties with the administration. And it’s global. Only a partial list of the coverage.

Sometimes you need good news—that title of this carving.

Commissioned to create a sculpture using bits accumulated by the husband of patron years ago. Thought it would be a great “Sensible” thing to do.

Before the election, I made the piece entitled “Behind the Golden Throne” with the predatory figures hovering around an empty painted chair with video monitors all over. Didn’t realize then how accurate a prediction. But now we at least can put pictures back the chair, but the head remains vacant?

Graphics sometimes are easier to get across about the tax cuts.

Cycling season is upon us. Last year did my first international cycling event with my son in Hiroshima—fantastic roads, mountains, and islands in the Seto inland sea. Beautiful experience. Not too many mountains in the Midwest like those.

Don’t know whether to say thanks for sending this 31 page disclosure or bemoan the fact it is in 10 pt font.

This sounds much more accurate than what was stated by the WH doc. Remember the last time in office when he said that he was the healthiest president ever. He is now the heaviest president in modern times. He’s trying to make the country in his image (which evidently disgusts him) compared to 44&46

Detroit viewed from Windsor, ON Canada. A river apart but tariffs creating a gulf between us. Madness must stop!

Where plane parts come from. An interesting calculation on tariffs don’t you think? Especially for the new Air Force One fleet of planes 🤔

Caller ID “US Government ” with a DC area code and government prefix. Answered and asked which department. Caller said it was a call over WiFi originating in India to save money. Are the Doge folk renting out government phone numbers to foreigners? Hung the phone up and blocked the number.

You can not address a crisis by creating an even larger one. Using a sledgehammer to pound a small finished nail. You only will pound your own fingers and hand.

How dumb can you be—Oh yeah, Dumber and Dumber

After seeing owl pics, here are a few of my carvings inspired from a visit to the Owl Cafe in Tokyo, Japan. Afterwards, I tried to capture the variety seen while interacting with the birds in a confined space. My daughter(in love) requested while visiting with my son in Hiroshima.

As a (former) peer reviewer for the Office of Postsecondary Education (US DepartmentofEd), I know firsthand of the important work colleges and universities are doing and contributing to this nation and the world. My heart goes out to the millions of Americans now impacted by a temper tantrum

If I have patience, the tide will change in you can walk on dry land to touch the shrine (Etajima Japan). Otherwise, walking on water is reserved for only a few of us. 😎
