A request done for @zhedblogs.bsky.social of their Zoroark character, Zed! They requested it performing the Shadow Ball maneuver. There's a bunch of flaws in this, and I have a TREMENDOUS amount to learn about posing, and anthropomorphic designs. But I'm definitely trying to learn.

A Zoroark wearing a green vest jacket is mid-air, angry, and charging up a "Shadow Ball" attack between their hands. They are posed aggressively. "Speed Lines" in the background imply an in-the-moment sense of action, combined with the dramatic lighting of the piece.

Ten years after I last worked on it, people are still writing me emails asking for my unfinished Sega Game Gear port of Pokémon Red. So I published it in its glitchy state: www.smspower.org/forums/20703...

Screenshot of a Sega Game Gear emulator. In-game, Pokémon Red, text states "SANQUI is playing the SMD!".

Glitchy in-battle screenshot. "CHARMANDER used SCRATCH!"

A little expirement-slash-art-project, this image displays the individual tile graphics used in Pokémon Gold for the Game Boy Color. They are arranged in chronological order as they appear during regular gameplay. You could read it left to right, top to bottom, page by page, like a book.

Tiles from Pokémon Gold are arranged in a linear manner, revealing blocks of graphics pertaining to the intro, the title screen, the menus, and the overworld.

The fascinating bit about smaller scale independent vtubers is that they are arguably a return to the internet of old - we didn't represent ourselves as our IRL selves, but as an abstracted form represented virtually. It's not a new thing, it's simply a return to the internet of old, but on video!

I keep accidentally doing that thing where I unfollow someone when I meant to follow them, because I forgot I was already following them. I have the memory of a goldfish hahaha.

I got informed literally an hour ago that it's Flygon Day. I was taken over by a sudden urge to draw. I haven't had much to post that isn't trapped onto my NSFW alt, so this is a rare thing that is both a 100% solo piece, and something I can post here. Even if it's rushed out in an hour! #フライゴンの日

Gift art for @flygon.flurret.net, depicting their Twitch stream incarnation as a mage from the world of their favorite RPG, #ShiningForce! #Art #FanArt #FurryArt #Furry #PixelArt #ドット絵

At daytime, a humanoid marsupial resembling a mix of ferret, raccoon and tanuki with green eyes, long ears with dark tips, and long hair stands in the grass next to a dirt road leading through a forest towards a mountain. They are wearing a short green cloak over golden robes with gold-plated pauldrons, a green sash, and a white stripe down the front with pink, arcane writing surrounding the shape of a watermelon. Their robe has short, puffy sleeves, and outside these sleeves, they wear long white gloves which hook between the thumbs and fingers, exposing their dark-furred hands. In their right hand is a mystical wooden staff, tipped in ornamental gold holding a ruby orb. From underneath the robe, the insteps of their gold-plated boots can be seen, as can their long, bushy and striped tail, which lifts up behind them and lifts the back of their robes along with it. Their hair and cloak blow in the wind, as the tracks in the dirt road leading toward the mountain can be seen.

Above this is the name "Flygon Breloom", separated by a bright light in the middle and written in ornamental, metallic letters. Underneath is the title, "The Livestreamer of Great Intention". Nearby is the URL "Twitch dot TV slash Flygon Breloom", and at the bottom are the words "Art by The Green Herring dot Neo Cities dot Org."

The piece is signed "TGH! 2025", written in a patch of dirt in the grass visible in one corner of the image.

Alright, ACTUALLY getting posts onto this account now. This is a collaboration done with the fantastic lineartist @ripparubui.bsky.social . We found his older linework by complete accident, and I decided to do the pixel art drawover seven years delayed. This was a lot of fun for us both!

A white-furred Buizel (an otter-like Pokemon with two tails) spinning its two tails whilst deep underwater as a form of propulsion. It is looking at the bubbles generated with great fascination. The background displays many creatures of ambiguous design shown in shadowed form. There is a ray of light beaming in from the surface of the water, possibly moonlight. The scene has a heavy blue and purple tint.

Hey! So, after a lot of consideration, I've decided to split my NSFW stuff onto a separate Bluesky account. The reasoning is simple - enough SFW non-furry friends follow me here that I don't want to annoy them with NSFW posts. If you want to see the NSFW, please follow @flygonaftd.flurret.net !

I figured out how to set up the custom domain stuff with Bluesky hahaha. I'll be making a semi-important post soonish. I'll be more active soon. I've been keeping quiet due to how busy IRL has been. I hope you've all been going well!

Indirectly contradicting my previous post, should I post art I've worked on or collaborated with onto Bluesky? If I do, any art I post onto this specific account will be purely SFW. If I post NSFW, that would be on a separate account. A not-insubstantial amount of non-furry folks I know (1/2)

To anyone that follows me, I do appreciate it. I probably won't post art directly onto Bluesky, I don't want to encourage people to only follow me here for that. My Itaku is Flygon, as is my Fur Affinity, if you want to follow me for art. I don't know how often I'll be here. I am more of a lurker.

I admit I expected like, one follow from that journal. I might have to check this website more than once a month hahaha. Do remember I am most likely to check my Itaku!
