The problem is that court-packing won't really solve the problem, any more than changing the political color of the WH and Congress every few years will solve the problem. The problem is so much deeper than that

You clearly don't understand the difference between News and Opinion. The article in question is an Opinion column, not a fucking News report. If you don't get that, I am very sorry for you. And if the writer crossed the fucking line, there are legal remedies - criminal and civil. Use them, ffs.

So, Trump's demands to ban news media that he doesn't like is okay with you? I expect better from Canadians. If you don't like their columnists and editorial positions, ignore them. State control of the media is not acceptable.

Damage caused by a third party has always been a problem, unless that third party can be identified. That means it has to be covered by your own insurance, which is subject to a deductible - and many people choose a high deductible in order to save money.

I'm afraid he's not a moron. Like all of Trump's enablers (and Trump himself) he is just practicing Adolf Hitler's advice on lying: Tell a Big Lie - not a small one - and keep repeating it. Many will start to believe it.

"And that's the interesting challenge here, because we really can't make a diagnosis without looking at all the facts and, of course, having the patient in some form cooperate with the examination. So we can't come away with a diagnosis ...".

As Hitler said, if you tell a Big Lie often enough, people will eventually believe it. "It must be true because nobody would dare tell such a big lie!" Trump and his enablers have learned that important lesson and demonstrate it every day.

Canadians spend about half of what Americans spend on healthcare coverage. And Canadians can see any damn doctor they choose, as often as they need to. The difference? Stripping private sector profit out of healthcare. Is universal healthcare perfect? Nope. But it sure beats the alternative.

It's back! The vintage "America - Love It or Leave It" slogan, originally aimed at communists and revived later to demonize Vietnam protesters. It can be paired with "My Country, Right or Wrong" for a very exciting campaign message for the Republicans.

It's sad that you're prepared to risk a major win just because you can't/won't suppress your anger for a few more weeks. If the GOP continues to control all of Congress after the midterms, it will be due to people who think that former Trump fans can be shamed into voting Democrat. They won't.

It's strategy, not coddling. As I said earlier: "If you tell someone often enough that they were stupid, thoughtless, racist, misogynistic, xenophobic assholes, you will probably see some of them double down on their assholery. Not worth it, when you can gloat afterwards anyway."

It's pretty funny to see some people talking about how important it is to "get back to the bargaining table". News Flash: A bargaining table is where people bargain. The US doesn't have people who bargain. The US has people who demand and threaten. The correct response to the US is "fuck off".
