yea... this is me

a very goobery version of my sona (stylized to mimic the original image) sticks the top half of their body out of a (poorly-drawn) grassy field. they wave their arms excitedly and hold their mouth open in pure joy. their eyes are reduced to little green beads, comically small compared to their glasses. a caption above the image reads "me (a chronic overthinker) after receiving the slightest bit of reassurance".

if you made it this far through my ramblings, congrats, i suppose! take this doodle of me eating a sandwich i did a few weeks ago that i wasn't super happy with, and that kinda started these thoughts to begin with.

me eating a sandwich, on a distorted golden background. i tried some new things with this piece (revised collar and ears, as well as giving the hoodie actual fluff to it) but i'm not super proud of the end result, mainly because of the perspective of the sandwich being wonky due to it being too challenging to properly draw on such a small scale. the paws, too, are very goofy; i'm not sure where on the scale of paws-to-hands i want my characters to fall, so this drawing as a weird middleground that i'm not sure if i like. while i'm at it, i REALLY don't like how i do the glasses/eyes, i'd love to do something better, but it's VERY hard to do on such a small scale. the low-nosebridge idea my partner and i had is silly, but doesn't really make sense and, quite frankly, looks kinda bad.all in all, i think i'm getting there, i'm just not all the way yet... and i'd REALLY like to be, because i'm very insecure about things.

a friend suggested i make art of my sona destroying a door (for some reason) a little over a week ago, and i did most of it then... and only just finished it now. oops. behold, a dumb comic about destroying a door

a six-panel comic in which my sona comes across a locked door, and comes up with a solution; buttered toast strapped to their back (cats always land on their feet, but buttered toast always lands buttered-side-down. the resulting reality-bending paradox destroys the door, but at what cost?

it's crazy how time flies by. i remember my undertale days well, i remember just how much the game shook my perceptions of the world, myself, art, music, etc. undertale shaped me into who i am today. i love undertale to death, and love deltarune all the same; i cannot wait to continue these stories

also, here's the alt original ending. i thought this was TOO dumb to finish up on, and i wanted to practice an actual pose, even if the end result wasn't great (but, for LITERALLY MY FIRST TIME drawing walking in like, a decade?, i think i did okay)
