Sounds to me like the Ohio Medical board might collectively be suffering from lead poisoning to let this slide. This is intentional public disinformation she's spreading. She needs to not be a doctor.

because it pays well is VASTLY different from it working. Best to know the difference. Also? Spewing hate to sow division is harmful to unity, and as we've seen, to the country. The right has also been a great source of DISinformation, and receiving a good dose of lost defamation suits. "works" pff.

I literally just liked a post that said AI can't be held responsible, so when a company points to the empty management chair and said the AI told us to, it is a flat out cop out, and frankly in this case needs to be prosecuted.

Readable to the public, and having the actively run code pointed to the exact same location as the read-only pointers. There would need to be public education on this topic, like primary school education on it. On top of that, you can build things like Experience Project x Reddit on public code. 5/5

We don't have foundational organizational structures yet in code on which we can start patching and updating. There's also the problem that trust in calculations needs to be established, as we see across the US distrust in machines. Part of that problem could be making all code ..4/?

We may yet arrive at dreamt of, but as yet unrealized powerhouses of supporting and maintaining large populations of humans. One of my favorites was Virtual Democracy from Civ 4, a mythical set where one simply gains understanding of a topic by viewing a vote on that subject. It's possible, but..3/?

So, as it would follow, even the refinement of the code through decades is still placing us in a village scenario, where what was said and learned last season might not apply this season, and even then, only if someone remembers. If there's something like...StackOverflow for political structures 2/?

Wild take: We are living through the early human establishment of agriculture. Except with information instead of food. All of this discussion, hell even the 'irrelevance' afforded 'feeds' by way of them being temporal-bound rather than topic-bound is only partly mitigated by places like Reddit. 1/?

I'm unsure what happened - my post was in response to a post now deleted, in which the person I follow described 'keeping cupboards closed' as a norm that someone they knew didn't follow. I believe this ended up becoming an out of cotext relpy from handling of deleted posts. Apologies for confusion.

Agree 100%. OP "Newscasters" are totally off their gourd even suggesting additional fees for parks because of daycares. On air no less.

I mean, you aren't far off. The Xtians have gone mad, and are literally crumbling under their false idol of money. Maybe instead of destroying it, you push the lunatics out of power and take the reigns.

Sounds like your books are full of lies written by revisionists. I think you should find a way to get this trash pulled from schools, though I have no experience with that process.

Wow, I find it absurd that not everyone does this.

Here's another take on that: I'm specialized in MSSQL, but the last 6 months of my life have been Oracle, and today I'm having to code in Excel VBA because someone uses it pretty extensively for their work. I can use it, but I found myself bitching out the VBA limitations a lot today. 🙃

Oh damn, I didn't know about that. The steam version was super stable, but if you prefer the switch I suppose I can't help with that.

Yet another story that lends credence to my stance: White space being functional in ANY language is just a non-starter.

This is no longer the SCOTUS. It is a captured, activist, rogue "court". They have an agenda, and no business occupying the positions they do.

It's no longer the SCOTUS. It's 6 yes men in a black robe sucking up to the worst of humanity. A captured activist rogue "court".

Right? WTF? You can't compare the two. One is a state of being for the most complicated biomachine on the planet, the other is a fancy matching algorithym based in a binary world. OP is just wrong.

I see why rich people have personal chefs. Someone to plan your meals, which is the worst task, then execute them. Still don't think I'd employ a chef if rich but I do get it.

Oh, ok, yeah, as a Type 1 diabetic, if I had kids, I should totally have found a non-insulin solution to the fact that my body lacked insulin entirely. I absolutely hate these people with zero grounding in the diversity of what can actually happen to a human body.

This sounds like invented stats. That said, what's happening with the incel crowd is definitely damaging for society, the trick is deprogramnming them of what makes them incels in the first place.

I think you're asking after the wrong thing. Whoever controls this account just said that there are sleeper terrorist cells who will follow Trump's commands, and murder people. "Turn Persecuted Demographics on their own neighborhoods."? That's terrorist cell threatening talk.

I kind of view this post like the pipsqueak getting beaten up meme...like jQuery is this tiny dude, comes through with a sign that says "HR says I'm back end now!", and PHP as one brute, C# as the other, and they bother just pummel jQuery in the end. Bloody hell.

I try to make my stuff so that "just" adjustments can be made in config, but I've also seen hard coded sql connection passwords, so I feel this.

I'd venture yes. Also, being chronically under-socialized doesn't help creativity either.

Not pissed off. When they first hit arcades, pinball machines didn't have tilt sensors, which means the user was free to manipulate the entire table, and score. Tilt was a warning pinball machines gave, and some even disabled the flippers until the ball dropped. Made them more challenging.
