Whoa! UFOs: Are they aliens, future humans, all in the mind or manifestations from a parallel reality?! Stand by for the next revelation on a 4h podcast of two guys repeating a bunch of stuff other guys told them, except some bits they can only hint at because the world's not ready yet.

Keeping an eye on the low water levels in the #Danube? Bookmark this brilliant website with everything you might want to know about the Paks nuclear plant in Hungary. holadelej.hu/en/#eso
Coll graphics show the status of Paks' four reactors and the level of the river compared to previous lows and what the plant's water intake, etc.

I'm warming to AI. Copilot, here, helping me understand how people fell for the 'solar cycle path'. By virtue of having eyes I was in the last group.
Cyclists ride along a cycle path made from solar panels which is covered in mud due to the fact that it is on the ground and being ridden over by people on bicycles. The engineer might be asking: "Can a solar panel survive traffic loads?"

The policymaker might be asking: "Can infrastructure produce renewable energy?"

The journalist might be thinking: "This is a striking new idea."

The investor might be thinking: "If this works, it's enormous."

Meanwhile, a practical observer looks at the photo and asks:

"How are you going to keep this thing clean?"

Tripling nuclear energy by 2050 is unrealistic
The study also examines whether the goal set by some countries to triple global nuclear power capacity by 2050 is realistic. Such a threefold increase would require a net electricity capacity of 1,160 gigawatts by 2050. To achieve this, new capacity on the scale of the historical maximum of around 30 gigawatts would have to be connected to the grid every year on average over a 25-year period. By contrast, typically less than ten gigawatts of new capacity has been commissioned over the last 30 years, which shows that a tripling by 2050 is unrealistic.

“Our conclusion is that new nuclear power plants are too expensive and would not be ready in time to make a significant contribution to achieving existing climate targets,” said Pistner. “Renewable energies therefore remain the central pillar of a climate-neutral electricity system.”

Meloni: Italy to remove its ban on #nuclearenergy this summer. www.governo.it/it/articolo/...
Translated text from President Meloni's address to the Italian Senate:

Clearly, among these major issues, there is energy. You know that the government – you can agree with it or not – has worked on it from the beginning, starting from the gas release to the nuclear measures. I would also like to take this opportunity to say that by the summer the enabling law will be approved, the implementing decrees for the legal framework necessary for the resumption of nuclear production in Italy will be adopted.

Chernobyl-Style Event Where Their Tech Causes a Horrific Catastrophe

It's only a matter of time, they fear.

By Victor Tangermann
Published Mar 6, 2026 2:11 PM ESTThe Al industry is no stranger to bad press, from fears over sweeping job losses to a burgeoning mental health crisis, suicide and even murder linked to the tech.
But what's really top of mind for Al tech leaders, according to new reporting by.
The Economist, is that their tech could soon be implicated in a Chernobyl-style event — referring to the 1986 catastrophe that's now nearly synonymous with the failings of the nuclear industry.
Experts have warned that as the Al industry continues to permeate society, the risks of a horrific and hyper-visible tragedy tainting the entire space are becoming significant.

I'll never forget that Elon Musk stopped the USAID programme supplying medicine that blocked mother-to-child transmission of HIV. Up to 135,000 babies were born with HIV because of him. But we'll never know exactly because he also stopped the work that would have diagnosed them.
Pregnant Women and Babies Acquiring HIV
PEPFAR is currently providing ARV treatment to
Snat ow heath and o pren annislonte tha
children. With stop work orders, these services will be halted......for a large number of these women. Importantly, the stoppage will affect an interwoven group of health care providers rather than a single group of workers. This means that, even if many of the antenatal clinic providers are employed by the Ministry of Health (as is often the case), the commodities in use, the pharmacists, laboratory technicians, and others involved in the care of pregnant women are integrated, with each being essential to quality care. Based on an expected HIV transmission rate of 40% when a woman is not on treatment and assuming that 50% of pregnant women on ART would deliver during a 90-day stoppage, we estimate that this would mean 135,987 babies acquiring HIV.
These babies, however, are highly likely to also go undiagnosed because infant HIV testing services are also being suspended due to the stop work order.

Psyched to see Galileo’s telescope today at Museo Galileo in Florence - the one he made himself and then used to discover Jupiter’s moons. Might be slightly obsessed with the guy as well after reading his punchy prose in the surprising readable Sidereus Nuncius, where he announced his finds.
Galileo’s telescope is meter long cylinder with a simple pattern of brown, black and gold bands. It has faded ornamental paint. It’s a little thicker at the eyepiece and the other end, probably where it can be adjusted. It is made of wood and cardboard.SIDEREAL MESSENGER

For years I could not understand why I kept seeing some Facebook friends malicious posts about immigration issues and political issues. I don't post or share malicious content myself yet there it was always popping up on my Facebook account, somehow the algorithm suggested that I may like malicious content but I rebuke it. I only post and share positivity, kindness, love, compassion and healing. It would be a genuine mistake if I posted content that violates Facebook rules. Thanks Facebook.
