Some people hear a joke and get upset. They want the person off the stage or off the show. The standard used to be that audiences could handle different material. Now one side treats certain topics as off limits. The other side still laughs and moves on.

Shane Gillis is one example. His material gets pushback from people who say they cannot handle it. The rest of the audience decides for themselves. Most people know a joke is not a policy speech. They can laugh or skip it.

The choice is simple. Support the right to tell jokes even when some people do not like them. Or demand that comedy only say what one group approves. Voters can see which approach leaves room for normal entertainment. The stage is still open for the people who want to hear it."

Okaloosa SO officially removing Flock cameras and the sheriff crying about it. We need to keep pushing to remove other invasive state surveillance devices as well.

Some perspective from a local regarding the Pulse memorial

Pulse Nightclub was a death trap, and it was NEVER a secret.
Upset over a CrossWalk that had nothing to do with Pulse? Why not use that energy to advocate for the survivors/victims/families that are STILL fighting to not be used as pawns- to benefit a "memorial" spectacle that Orlando has been trying to build). ALL while funneling hundreds of thousands of dollars into the pockets of the city and the "foundation" that doesn't even benefit survivors. This CrossWalk has gained national coverage and WHY?! WHY is literally everyone dismissing the feelings that those involved are, at minimum, entitled to?
The city of Orlando has continuously/purposely benefited from those personally involved to put Orlando "on the map"-- To "show" that the city is "advocating" or "stands by" the community... They continue to hold "fundraisers" and "events" by calling it a "call of action" or "peaceful protest"--It's an act and I'm fucking sick of it.
Pulse Nightclub was a death trap, and management KNEW this. There have been countless requests for records, as it has been public knowledge that the venue violated MANY codes. Now, we are currently waiting for the State Attorney to conduct their investigation and hold accountable Poma’s and OnePulse's manipulation..
So, you're mad about a CrossWalk? Imagine the ongoing trauma that those personally involved have consistently endured for the past decade.
*Pulse was also MY "safe" place. I was on my way to the venue that night and decided to turn around to tend to my (then) puppy...And to be so disrespected and taken advantage of is absolutely disgusting.

Florida state troopers are working with Border patrol all over the panhandle today to stop vehicles with construction equipment and detain people on highways and busy areas from Pensacola to Freeport.

Pictures posted in comments on Facebook, border patrol and state troopers on the side of the road, pulling over people with construction equipment.
One commenter says in spanish that according to the person that they talked to.
We should be looking for these law enforcement groups around for one.
