Yeah agree! I find retopology really boring, so I much prefer taking longer on blocking out the shapes and making sure the topology is clean in low poly, and then work from there. Usually I just make a high poly sculpt and slap that baked normal map onto the low poly model.

Had some fun sculpting my model in high poly today, then did a normal map for the low poly model and it came out pretty good i think! Also added some flat colors for the skin texture and shaded it slightly. #3dart #blender #characterdesign #wipart
