nothing more vindicating than learning that a boss you hated and should have been fired years earlier only kept their job for that long bc they were sleeping with Their boss

dopamine rush of posting something in a mostly-dead ship on ao3 and getting two almost immediate comments can keep a person going for days, maybe even weeks

An overwhelmingly common reason people give for enjoying this type of work IS ITS SEPARATION FROM REALITY. People are ENJOYING A FANTASY, not planning their weekend. This deserves protection.

“credit to whoever made it 🥺” while reposting art is crazy bc we live in a time where you can reverse search images or ask friends privately if they know/can help you find the artist but you’re throwing in the towel to get likes on something that you didn’t really need to repost in the first place

No cops at Pride includes the cop in your head who tells you to police other queer people. Learn the difference between being uncomfortable and being harmed. Deal with your discomfort on your own time. Pride is for the community, not just you.

that aside, people need to have more respect for NSFW artists, "ohhhh my god a porn artist worked on the sfw thing!?-&" yes they did because they have the skills required and drawing nsfw shouldn't mean you're "tainted" or should stick to one subject. i need people to stop the puritan shit.

Finally finished my anniversary project for my wife @ paraducksspace (on tumblr) !!! Please look at my biggest project ever!!! 1/3 #ocart #occomic

three panels of the artist's OC Marti looking away. In the first he is looking up a staircase at a throne, in the second he is in a tree looking at a city skyline and in the third he is at a desk inside a shop, looking at his laptop.

The door from the third panel of the previous page starts being pushed open by the artist's wife's OC Nix. It includes various close ups on Nix's body until showing him looking in Marti's direction. Nix: Hello? Hello? Marti: Hi!
