Flora @floracatz.bsky.social · 29/09/2026My personal best. The game ramps pretty fast, and if you bury a fork, you're done. Really fun little game, the theme song is catchy. I have put a few hours into it, and I'm addicted. 080

Hardly used and in great condition. Shown is size L. XL is grey but same style. ✨Shares appreciated so I can reach those who may need this. 1912

Flora @floracatz.bsky.social · 16/09/2026The density of mega fauna always bothers me too. If you’re a big carnivore, you also need a big range. 140
Flora @floracatz.bsky.social · 16/09/2026What’s more wild is that they brought house cats back 200 million years. You don’t think that our near apex middle predator isn’t gunna end up with its own huge ecological niche? 140
Flora @floracatz.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Animals are afraid of injury. You think they are gunna hunt and chase you down if you’re making noises and shooting at them? I got to eat a testy human, but now I’m dying of infection. Worth it. 140
Flora @floracatz.bsky.social · 16/09/2026Any time I see fiction where all the dinosaurs are hunting and killing humans, I just think about how invasive species get ignored because nothing has adapted to hunt them. 140

Flora @floracatz.bsky.social · 14/09/2026I wonder if ARM64 is just going to happen without it being a big deal. The performance delta between the Arm vendors is now that AMD64 is legging in raw performance and power consumption. Supposedly the instruction set shouldn't matter, but the evidence suggest otherwise. 140
Flora @floracatz.bsky.social · 11/09/2026Yeah. I do use them. But it’s hard to compete with the friction of ablating graphite on paper. 000
Flora @floracatz.bsky.social · 11/09/2026I have a nice drawing tablet now, and after some practice I assumed I was as good with it as I was with paper. But five seconds with a pencil and paper, and it’s hard to beat the GOAT of art tech. Why is this so much more precise, and way to control?! How much resolution does it have?! 2120
Flora @floracatz.bsky.social · 11/09/2026There is something humbling in knowing that people are the magic that is missing in lost technology. They just stopped being paid to care. The inverse is true, emulator devs often understand the technology better than any engineer who designed the thing. As they have to find the accidents. 031
Flora @floracatz.bsky.social · 11/09/2026The Rocketdyne F1 engine was mostly encoded in the people who built it on the shop floors heads. It’s now archeotech. Most software systems are a form of archeotech as no one actually understands the whole of it, it works until it doesn’t. This is just part of how the world works. 130
