I got on the ground and laid in dead grass twice for both the Bentley's, whilst in Bentley cosplay myself #TIC7

Me in an almost entirely handmade Bentley cosplay. The wings move, and the dress had removable cape sleeves that were lined with the same fabric that S3 Angel Crowley's jacket is lined in. I took them off because it was too damn hot.

Look Mum no hands! Started Bentley dress 2.0 I sew two ways, slowly and only holding on to the very bottom, or like Ayrton Senna is possessing my peddle foot. I'm using my modern machine, but it's the table that a 60s Singer is built into that was gifted to me by MrFloof's great aunt.

I remembered how much I hate cutting out patterns, but so nearly there. Got really into my head cutting this as if I couldn't order more if I somehow cocked up cutting sleeve linings.

I used to do a lot of pop art style work back in my teenage years. Decided to get back on it and crack how to do it in a digital medium. Made a copper ring with cut out Swifts and bugs and clouds appliqued on with solder. Bit wobbly but I think it came out pretty well. Still can't solder wire onto a flat piece of metal, but I can cut out tiny clouds and solder them on fine....

Welp, today is the day of the 3. I suspect it'll show up at 3.33pm and it'll be either a poster or a still, with the release date. Last week according to my work computer the 2 wasn't at 3:30pm, but 3:32pm. Which makes me think that the 1 was at 3:31pm, but I didn't think to look.

Three weeks into silversmithing term 2: ring making! All in copper because I'm still learning. Next week it's cut outs. The spinner one didn't quite solder correctly (you can see a little nick in the wide band) but somehow it didn't split when I flared it out. #jewellerymaking #silversmithing

Look what MrFloof's Great Aunt gifted me! She bought it as a gift for her mum in ~1960s, then inherited it when she passed. Needs a good clean, but I did a quick check and she runs perfectly. The machine is solid metal so we had to unscrew it from the cupboard to get it up the stairs.

Randomly dreamt a couple nights back of the trailer for S3 #goodomens It was basically some super zoomed in screenshots with some lines of dialogue played over them. The only dialogue I remember is "We have come to a decision" said by Aziraphale in his *AZIRAPHALE* voice.

Back in class today after half-term. Tested out using wire and a press to indent the shape of the bone structure, accidentally cut a bit of it off though 🤦 oh well, it's a test piece. This one's a bit larger and I like it better so I think I'm going to do my final piece in copper instead of silver

Started a mock-up of my final piece, the wings will be in silver and the sand timer in copper. Next week I'm tidying it up and getting some texture on it. The second picture is another idea I've had rolling around my head, might make it, might not.

Made two more pendants in class. One is a heart soldered on an oval, and the other is hammered with a high polished mini heart hanging from it. The hearts and oval are cut out with a stamp and I made the jump rings myself!

I started a silversmithing course a couple of weeks back and have finished my first copper training piece. Originally I was going to buff it to a high shine, but then I remembered I had some buffed copper chain in the house that would go perfectly.

Matte buffed Ginkgo leaf copper pendant with a central cut out of a bird on a branch on a copper chain.
