DON'T LET THE BASTARDS GET YOU DOWN 🏳️‍⚧️ #art #tdov #transart

a digital illustration in the style of a relief print depicting a black cat in a defensive pose holding a torn and tattered transgender pride flag in its mouth as it looks directly towards the viewer. the background is purple with some specks of blue and pink showing through, and behind the cat is a black midground resembling grass or flames. the top right corner features a box with a caption reading "T.D.O.V."

Today is Trans Day of Visibility, but even after it is over trans individuals will continue to exist and be seen in practically every aspect of your life. They will not “return” to being invisible; they shouldn’t be expected to, and removing them would make life worse in ways that affect all of us.

KOG IS GREENLIT! Since this was shown in the trailer/ad for the artbook it felt safe to share. This was drawn in '24, early dev, the first time it really felt me, Zach, and JBO understood Frankie, Andi, and the show's tone. I still look at this drawing and think, oh yeah. That's #knightsofguinevere.

An early development digital drawing in color depicting Frankie and Andi, covered in android blood, in front of an early concept for the Repair Halo which had lots more details. An android (that was not necessarily Gwen at the time) lays between them, mid operation.

Also the excuse of "I can't animate because I don't have the programs needed to be a good animator so I do them with AI" I had nothing as well but tried to do it on flipbooks to train and then got a Nintendo DSi and worked so hard to do things like this! (I❤️Calvin&hobbes) There are no limitations.

"AI is best, it can make it in 15 seconds, could you do better?" Someone said on a Leomon AI "art" stuff, so I took a pen and made this cute fanart of Agumon protecting Leomon. Sure it didn't take 15 seconds but took lot of love to make and that will always matter more in the end.

An illustration about Agumon protecting Leomon despite the huge size difference.

Every time I bring this up i get pushback about how "AI is great for the menial jobs" NO ITS NOT. STOP. Like with animation i get " Its good for stuff like in-betweens" Which tells me folks actually don't value all the real hard work and skill that goes into every step of the process??

As a streamer, I also want to say - you have to give yourself the permission to cut back on (or even stop) streaming games that aren’t bringing you joy. You’re allowed to switch games entirely to something else mid-way. The energy I have when playing a game I actually like is SO OBVIOUSLY DIFFERENT

It might seem incredibly obvious, but…just make your voice heard. If a character is replaced, ask why. Submit tickets expressing your frustration (player feedback is always sought, after all). Educate yourself as best you can on why the strike is happening, & why *it’s still going on for a reason*.

This is also part of it. Older folks especially have been getting “scared off” by backlash relating to AI art when they don’t understand what’s wrong with the “cute image” they found and used when looking for something to put on an email or website. They know they did something wrong, but not WHY.
