Florian Lecorvaisier, PhD @flolecorvaisier.bsky.social · 21/04/2026Recently finished this really interesting book, "La Biodiversité en infographies". Highly recommend it! Particularly loved the first chapters, nicely explaining some ecology and evolutionary biology concepts. The only drawback is that some figures cannot be read by colorblind people. 000

Florian Lecorvaisier, PhD @flolecorvaisier.bsky.social · 30/06/2025Sometimes, while browsing the internet, I come across people wondering what to call Marie Curie. Marie or Maria? Simply Curie or Skłodowska-Curie? I researched the letters, books and documents she signed, and wrote a blog post summarizing my findings. flolecorvaisier.github.io/posts/marie-...flolecorvaisier.github.ioHow to name Marie Curie? – Florian Lecorvaisier’s websiteHow must we name Marie Curie? Florian Lecorvaisier, PhD @flolecorvaisier.bsky.social · 30/11/2024Just finished reading Antoine Balzeau's Histoire d'os. While the abstract was misleading (but I blame the editor for that!) the journey was really pleasant. So nice to see research projects/experiences turned into books like that! 100
