A closer look at Aubrey 🎃

Aubrey, a red squirrel character wearing a witch's hat. She has long, ginger curly hair that covers one eye. She's stirring a cauldron of green bubbling liquid, which contains a frog, a pumpkin and an acron. Colourful steam pours out the sides.

Couldn't pass up #ArtFright2026 to get me in the Halloween spirit! Using the 'reanimated' prompt with the Spirit Scene palette! A good excuse to draw Frankendennis... ( #art #furry #artfight )

A piece for Art Fright, using their limited palette 'Spirit Sense'. It features a reanimated Frankenstein's monster version of Dennis the anthro Briard dog. He's smiling with his tongue flopping out and paws raised up in the classic monster pose.

Working on ref sheet images for a real big dog 😌 Dennis! This chill Briard is a gentle giant that loves to eat and plays the drums in an indie hard rock/metal band. He's not the smartest cookie in the jar, but he's got a big heart! ( #art #furry )

A front facing reference sheet full body of Dennis, an anthro Briard dog character with thick black and white hair covering his eyes. He has a heavy, muscular with a little chubby build.

Another layered paper 3D frame, featuring Bruce this time! Asked Fröschlein what she wanted for Christmas this year, she said “Bruce”. Go figure 😂 ( #art #ocsky )

A layered 3D paper frame with Bruce (big albino jock guy in a purple varsity jacket and backwards cap) poking his head out, smiling whilst holding the bottom right of the frame.

A little known fact about me is that I collect enamel pins and ita bags! I recently got to add Frog Tree Games’ Itarium to my collection, which I’m stoked about as I’ve had my eye on it for ages 😩 God bless secondhand bargains 👏👏

An ita bag designed to look like an amphibian/reptile vivarium tank, by Frog Tree Games. There are a variety of Pokemon hard enamel pins displayed.

Pins by:
Risu_Chuu (Dragonite, Tyrantrum)
Chocodile (Lopunny)
Lugia (KawaiiBakaDesign)
Chatot (Irisidium)
Oinkolognes, Treecko, Torchic, Mudkip (Official Pokemon Center)

A full body piece of Nuala, a grey speckled unicorn character with a white mane and tail fluff. They have a multicoloured spiral horn and a chest gem. They're rearing up on their hind legs with a stern expression.

My half of an art trade with @fliss-floss.bsky.social! [ #art | #digitalart | #anthro | #anthroart ]

A digital painting of a wererooster character spreading his arms in an evil monologue pose while walking forwards. He's making eye contact with the camera with a toothy smile. His feathers are black with blue and purple iridescence.

Ehh I wouldn’t blame yourself there, I think people are just massively more picky with human oc designs. Especially if your audience skews more furry! I’ve been meaning to draw his human version for ages, I just always end up getting sidetracked by the damn rabbit 😂

(I'm not sure why I'm getting notifs for this but I'ma reply anyway 😂) YOUNG HYDEN WAS REJECTED??? No accounting for taste these days, I guess 😅 It's okay, more recreational drug enjoying career boy for the rest of us lol

Yeah I could never get the hang of Discord servers, the huge ones just move way too fast and everything just gets posted over 😅 The afternoon nostalgia of just scrolling through nice, slow paced forums, I miss those times!

010

✨ Felicity ✨ @fliss-floss.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Omg this is such a cute idea!! I think I might be a little late but Bruce loves Halloween dressup, he'd look great in any slot :D Thank you for the chance <3

✨ Felicity ✨ @fliss-floss.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

Me neither. Never saying never as there may be OCs that are too complicated for my skill level, but I’d never decline on the basis of being ‘ugly’. Getting to draw charas I wouldn’t usually draw is great practice! It’s such an honour to draw somebody’s beloved blorbo.

✨ Felicity ✨ @fliss-floss.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

It’s definitely rough, the once open forums/easy to find communities are now secretive private servers, finding likeminded people these days is hard. I feel it too, so you’re not alone in that sentiment 😔 I’m really sorry things have been so shitty for you on the art side of things lately :/

✨ Felicity ✨ @fliss-floss.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

As for recommendations, @serenacypb.bsky.social does some real nasty villains and all sorts of body types, furry and humans, and I’d be surprised if they didn’t do a cracking job with middle aged guys!

✨ Felicity ✨ @fliss-floss.bsky.social · 06/10/2026

✨ Felicity ✨ @fliss-floss.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

100%, could be my rose tinted glasses but it felt like people were far less hair triggered (on average!) to hate on people. We were all just socially awkward weirdos coexisting once upon a time 😂

010

✨ Felicity ✨ @fliss-floss.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Amen to that. As websites where I can be a yapper grow sparse, we have to keep the few enduring gems afloat! I can’t stand the short form, endless scroll places where actually seeing people I’ve followed depends on the whim of an algorithm and dodging ads..

120

✨ Felicity ✨ @fliss-floss.bsky.social · 03/10/2026

Yay!! Oh yeah Bsky DMs aren’t ideal for me either with the whole age assurance thing here, I’m heading to bed now but if you let me know your tumblr I’ll see if I can unearth my old one from somewhere 😂
