We will be at Mumbles Skatepark in Swansea on Sunday spray painting the designs that skatepark users have come up with onto the ramp walls! If you want to have a go joining in with the spray painting then sign up on the day - we only have 40 spaces! We'll be there 12 - 4 #MumblesCommunity

The Wales UK team were again with @flipthestreets.bsky.social last week, this time working with the young people of #SwanseaMosque designing a mural for their reception area. They came up with some excellent ideas of representations in mural form of how it feels to belong at Swansea Mosque.

We joined @flipthestreets.bsky.social and Fresh Creative at #SwanseaMosque for a day of painting with the students. Everyone had a go with a can of spray paint and the results are stunning! The girls and boys each designed murals about being Muslim in Swansea - what do you think?

We joined @flipthestreets.bsky.social for another mural painting day with Fresh Creative, this time at #SwanseaUniversity to paint a mural that the students designed. Loads of students joined in with the painting and we had lots of positive comments from passersby who loved the design.
Five people spray paint a graffiti mural onto a board on a wall. The sun is shining and the mural shows a multicoloured sunset and the silhouettes of a woman in a hijab and a man in a wheelchair. The centre of the mural is still in sketch form. The completed graffiti mural showing a multicoloured sunset over the sea in the background, a sandy beach in the foreground with the silhouettes of a man in a wheelchair and a woman in a hijab, and large DJ decks in the foreground with gender ambiguous hands spinning tracks. The hands are painted in a variety of different skin tones.

We had an excellent time at Swansea Mosque working with them, their pupils, and Fresh Creative CIC on these beautiful mural designs. The boys and girls of the Mosque designed a mural each and they came out fantastically! In the end everyone got a go spray painting and it was a fun day for all

We had a brilliant time painting our new graffiti mural with Fresh Creative yesterday at Swansea Uni! Loads of students joined us and we had lots of positive comments from passersby. We really feel that this captures the vibrancy and diversity of life at Swansea. Who doesn't love a beach party?!

Our Wales UK team has been working with @flipthestreets.bsky.social in activities involving young people in designing a mural for #MumblesSkatepark in Mumbles, Swansea. Young people shared what their skatepark means to them and came up with ideas for a mural that would represent this.

We're hosting a second #flipthestreets creative workshop at #MumblesSkatepark on Friday May 1st 3:30-5:30pm. We'll be there with pens and paper so that skatepark users can share their ideas for how the walls of the skatepark should be painted!

We had a fantastic #FliptheStreets workshop last week at #MumblesSkatepark with children and young people who use the space. They shared lots of great ideas for a graffiti mural that they would like painted on their ramps. And in a few weeks they’ll have the opportunity to take part in painting it!
