I’ve had the worst sequence of bad luck I’ve ever had in a 2-3 week period. It’s pretty shocking how so many unrelated time consuming bad things can happen in a short time. I’ve seriously considered quitting my job for weeks because I feel unable to handle it all and keep up with work

I hate social anxiety so much. The fact that I spent years pushing myself and still get so upset at trying to send a message in a discord server lol. The fact that I’m 29 and still can’t do basic stuff without terrible anxiety after doing it for most of my life- fuck it’s annoying

Anyway, made me really annoyed- most annoyed I’ve been with the series. All of Urahara’s perversion stuff in TYBW has been really annoying- I don’t know why they decided to make that such a prominent feature of his character suddenly. I really despise the perverted guy archetype in shonen stories

Rather than it being forced onto them by a man or put into situations where they are being exposed without their consent or comfort like so many shonen things. So it really frustrates me that they put something like this all the way at the end and with one of my favorites :(

And then the Yoruichi thing is one of the most egregiously disrespectful sequences of fanservice I remember in the series. I felt bleach at least often had fanservice be more limited to revealing designs and characters who wish to express sex appeal or their bodies

Nemu and Naonao’s sequences both felt like they were giving greater agency to characters whose roles were almost entirely supporting their male captains prior which felt like good additions to the narrative and expansions of their characters as their own people

I feel that Orihime’s outfit sucks for her character- who has generally been dressed modestly (fitting her character) in previous parts- and it’s worse when it’s shown to be Urahara tricking her into it

I feel like TYBW has been mixed with how they’ve written the women. Overall I think bleach is more respectful and caring towards its women characters than may be expected by superficial aspects- the bar is fairly low for these types of series- but still

And imo the context just makes it worse in the sense of how disrespectful that whole fight and sequence was for Yoruichi. I was hoping she’d be a lot cooler but it felt like only an excuse for unusually disrespectful fanservice

Vague TYBW calamity spoilers My opinion on TYBW is a lot more negative after seeing the part in theaters annoyingly. I knew a part I would hate was coming but was hoping they would adjust it since they removed a scene with Orihime in one of the earlier cours- but it was not any better

Yoruichi, Soi Fon, Nel, and like most of the women in the show also look so good in TYBW. I rewind to look at Yoruichi and Soi Fon again half of the time- so pretty/handsome/cool. I wish they’d kiss so bad

Also the show is just so good, there’s so many things I didn’t expect at all that exceeded my expectations. Happy with the decision to highlight certain characters more- and I care a lot more about some characters I was pretty neutral on

Talking to someone a lot besides my gf has been really good for my mental health. Don’t feel as stressed, have more energy, work is easier, eating better, etc. I was really lonely but used to it. The Kafka cosplayer dream I had a bit ago is how I realized it lol.

I feel like it’s not interesting to other people, may make them feel worse and it feels too vulnerable sometimes. So I don’t think it’s useful for me in my situation. I think it’s unfortunate that it means a good bit of myself is held back though- but I do that with everything anyway effectively

In my gf’s tomodachi life my mii was with one of her OCs- a vampire girl- for the past two months. The first couple in the game. The OC broke up with me despite saying not to. The reminiscing scenes were so sad and I thought they were cute together. Somehow cried for a pretty long time over it
