I've also mapped all the films I've watched to check how the running time of a film has changed over the years and added some interesting outliers.
A graph showing all the films I've watched plotted according to their running time and their year of release. Some outliers have been marked and named because of how untypically long/short the film was for its time. These include:
The Testament of Dr. Mabuse (1933, 122 min),
The Invasion of the Body Snatcher (1956, 80 min),
On Her Majesty's Secret Service (1969, 142 min),
The Shining (1980, 144 min)
The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993, 76 min)
Schindler's List (1993, 195 min)
The Party (2017, 71 min)
Blade Runner 2049 (2017, 164 min)
Zack Snyder's Justice Leage (2021, 242 min)
Oppenheimer (2023, 181 min).

Looking at the 16 films I've watched at the cinema, about 44% (7) of them were original screenplays, with the rest being either sequels, adaptations or original work as part of an established IP.
A pie chart showing the films I've watched in the past year:
7 were original screenplays,
4 were adaptations of books etc.,
3 were sequels/prequels,
and 2 were original works within the boundaries of an already established IP.
