I can't understand while one the one hand UKRI is willing to fund two AI labs for £60M, while on the other cut back on basic science. It's only an issue because Jodrell Bank sits in the STFC portfolio, which also has the energy intensive accelerators. www.ukri.org/news/ukri-la...
