Cool original music by OC ReMixers: @flexstyle.fyi 🎵 "Bittersweet Nebula" flexstyle.bandcamp.com/album/trace-...

Michael "Flexstyle" Birch @flexstyle.fyi · 11/07/2026

I have a track on this. It was written so long ago that in the intervening time I... - graduated college - started a graduate degree - dropped out of said graduate degree - got married - bought a house - started 3 businesses - did a whole lot more stuff as well. Lil' slice o' history, this album.

Currently working on songs for perhaps my most truly EDM album ever....tech house, techno, hard trance, drum'n'bass, and a lot of sounds that I've never really played with musically before. It should be fun when it's all done. Yes, that's *original* songs. Not remixes. Weird, I know.

2025 is the year of making music that will see the light of day in 2026, probably

It only took half a year, but I think FL Studio 25 is finally stable on Mac OS. Better late than never. I'd kvetch more, but honestly, free updates is pretty sweet, and the old version has been working great in the interim.

y'all ever wish that you could just not know some of the stuff you know so that it wasn't your responsibility anymore?

Story time! I was looking around my studio figuring what I really use and what I can sell. Since I moved everything into a non-sound-treated room, my final mixing gets done on some Slate VSX headphones, and my monitors (Neumann KH120 + a KRK sub) really aren't a critical piece. Or so I thought.

I didn't PLAN on posting two @flexstyle.fyi mixes in a row, but I had a hankering for this song today. Sometimes you just gotta satisfy the craving. What can I say? Ensuring a diverse roster of daily mixes can produce Hard Times.

I've already spent enough time on social media promoting myself. Nothing really comes of that. So, instead, I think what I'll be doing for a while is shouting out music friends I've worked with. I'll try and do this with as many friends as I can find here over some time.
