When someone refers to me as a man or a boy any other male-gendered noun, it makes me a little ill. I don't feel like a man or a boy. I don't feel like a woman or a girl. I think I'm somewhere in between.

With one individual, this has lead to conversations going to places they shouldn't have, and me saying things that someone in a monogamous relationship shouldn't say to someone outside that relationship. For that, i am sorry. There is no excuse, only an explanation.
