But also I don't think anyone wants to write with Esme anyway so would it matter if I just stop writing her? This is probably just my head fucking with me, I know this but yeah

Esme coming to her limit and unable to hide just how sad and lonely she feels all the time, so she just goes MIA

also let's stop policing how others see and interpret art. yeah, obviously who made it had a certain intent, but people will not consume it all the same

There is always someone going through a thougher time that us, but our feelings and our mental health is still important.

Just because people are dying somewhere in the world, doesn't mean you can't be sad or have depression. This idea of "oh, you have everything you could wish for so you don't have reason to complain" is so dismissive and a lot of the time the reason why people don't scream out for help.

Like, I do find it weird posting yourself crying, but their feelings aren't less valid or important as someone who works a 9-5. Mental Health doesn't become better because you can travel or are rich, or make "easier" money. Just because someone has it worse, doesn't mean people can't struggle.

Like, this is specifically about how people tend to dismiss people who make content's feelings when they see a video of them crying.

If someone posts something you don't like or you disagree with, and your first thing is to insult and mock them, especially if it's about mental health.... you can fucking scroll and curate your space.

As they say, opinions are like assholes. Everyone has one, but no one wants to see yours, especially if you have nothing nice to say. Why are people so cruel and dismissive?

I need to rant. The world is so tiring. Like, how can we be preaching for empathy while being so unempathetic towards others? And I mean my generation and the next one. We use the internet as a bullying ground, and people have to deal with it because it's the internet, and everyone has opinions.

FYI, Star Trek was never subtle about its politics. Having Black, Russian, and Asian crew members treated with respect was a political choice for a show in the 1960s. You're just mad the needle has moved beyond the issues of your day.
