I love this game but Jesus Christ I hate this font I will say after Chapter 1, there’s a lot more hints given about Ray/Kuneri. I don’t know how I personally would have brought them into English—I don’t think there’s a great way—but it does foreshadow that in a lovely way.

On to Ghost Trick in Japanese next! This is one of my favorite games of all time so I’m incredibly excited to see how it stacks up 👀 #ghosttrick

Finally finished my 999 playthrough in Japanese; overall I think the localization that the English version did is generally top notch. It didn’t lose any of that campiness I remember from it; really just an all around great job for an exceptional game.

In honor of international women's day, share 4 of your favorite female characters! This was actually surprisingly difficult; lots of honorable mentions the more I thought 😭

Shinko Kuroyanagi from The Silver Case: the 25th Ward

Yuri Kozukata from Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water

One of my resolutions was to create more, so in celebration of finishing Dragon Age: Origins, my Warden, Neria. I’m still not much of an artist, but practice will only improve the skill!

I went to advocate for this dude and I feel like I have let down women somehow because how did this go from “strong woman demands an equal partner” to “it is my responsibility to make my partner happy and make a family”

Ngl this is terrifying lore, especially playing a mage. Having it looming over your head that at any point you could lose it and become a monster like… they are definitely not throwing that in my face enough considering how many times I’ve been in the Fade and faced demons.

Kels | Fearless Leader Gaming @fleadergaming.bsky.social · 07/12/2024

I am still trying to piece together her nightmare during the Circle of Magi and is the big thing that she’s just suicidal but feels so much pressure due to how fucked up the world is and her abilities to help to not die yet?

I asked her if I could become a bard like her (which is basically a spy on this world?) and this was her reaction so if I don’t kill us I think she deserves a kiss lol
