Update: we now have a normal map generated from the high-poly sculpt and baked lighting yes it stands out compared to the base texture but I kinda like it? it’s got some contrast going on as a bonus, see just how few rectangles I could get away with

After some retopology, texture work, and rigging, the abdomen segment has been made real most of the hours in the morning were dedicated to fighting unity and the export scripts but we made it work!

The beehind beegins It’s been a while since I last touched the Blender sculpting tools, but grabbing a default cube, using R and Ctrl+R and playing with the brushes a bit and it actually looks like it’s shaping up pretty well, I think! Not shown: editing the base so I could hide the tail for this

I’ve had this pen and marker set just sitting around in the drawer for like the whole last year So I pulled them out and have started making a pocket zine with it for when I try reaching for my phone in my pocket Anyway it includes a well and a bucket in it

A zine, "Rarely used, Almost NEW" on the cover page. It has an illustration of a felt-tipped pen along with its barcode. The text ".Too" as well as "2026 04 01" are drawn on it.

My goodness btw, in the same announcement above they say they might just release a new version if they haven’t fully tested it??? like, cmon, if you can’t test a feature don’t just release it and hope that it works for the sake of getting it out of the door

We will always endeavour to provide you with new features and updates that work first time and at times, we have to ensure that the update is provided before a certain timeframe. Whilst we attempt to run through a number of tests ourselves, we also rely on our amazing BETA testers, to provide us feedback and suggestions before we release to the public. With the testing, if there has not been sufficient testing, then sometimes we have to make a decision to release and get feedback based on the released version.

It’s a lot of fun trying to work with vrEmuLcd, though I’m still pretty hazy on the details on how the HD44780 works, and there’s some fun™ beehaviour with when I push strings that are too long into it. Still, I have ideas on how I can fix that (2 of 2)

I’m very happy with the progress we’ve made on the media widget for the show! It’s inspired by the display of the MZ-R900, a fun media player that I only briefly used beefore I got an iPod... (1 of 2)
