Local pop up bar from Moonshine Brewery at The Geldart so working in halves through their lovely selection of 4 in the beautiful sunny courtyard. IPA 4.9 to start with. Not too hoppy for my sensitive palate. Good stuff.

Sadly I missed the announcement of Champion Beer of Britain due to w*rk, but the winner is not my style. This is the runner-up Wildcat premium bitter (5.1% ABV), from Cairngorm Brewery, and is thoroughly delicious. Am building up to Bronze it is a strong un.

Finally managed to secure some time away from work to see one of the many masterpieces screened by U3AC at The Cambridge Arts Picturehouse in their Silver Screen thread. Last saw this in 1999 at the National Film Theatre. Macabre, tense, but audience guffawing in places and Ron Goodwin composing.

On a mini pub crawl. So far I have finally realised that Barsham Brewery took over Jo C's recipes and Bitter Old Bustard is still excellent. A Lager from my local Brewery (Calverley's) is superb. I am also still overjoyed by both Bishop Nick and Tring Breweries and pretty much everything they brew.
