Finished my Dracula blackwork piece! Not super traditional blackwork but I freaking loved it and have already finished another one 👽

A gold frame around a white and red blackwork embroidery on black aida cloth. It features roses and vampire imagery, and text in the middle that reads THE BLOOD IS THE LIFE

I lost my princess today. She was 17. When she was four, I stole her from my piece of shit roomate who didn't want her anymore and was taking her to a shelter. Locked myself in a bathroom and held her for hours. Best choice of my life. I'll miss you baby.

A beautiful black and white cat sitting in a window seat. She's very old and was very loved.

The same black and white cat looking back at the camera, sitting in her window seat. She has a little off-center mustache. She was the best part of my life.

Picked up blackwork(ish) #embroidery to help dodge the horrors and im soooo happy with this one. Gonna put it in the gaudiest, most ornate frame i can find. #artsky

Oh elderly cat, how I love you.

A very senior black and white cat, laying on a thick blanket. She is very spoiled and happy, despite always low key smelling like pee.
