Happy early Halloween, I've had this Silvaze fanfic in the bank for so long! This one came from a talk with Mijiu! On a late and stormy Halloween night, Blaze's important work is interrupted by the arrival of a caped figure upon her balcony. Links in the replies, I hope you enjoy.

Timed perfectly with the rumble of thunder, the balcony windows flew open. Momentarily lit by an arc of lightning rumbling across a nearby cloud, a pale figure in a billowing black cape was standing just beyond the now exposed threshold.

"Good evening, my mistress," A familiar voice greeted in an intentionally lowered tone, "I come bearing tribute, in the hope that you might grant me entry."

Blaze's eyes were already adapted to the dark, the figure's features were immediately plain to her. White quills had been smoothed back, his fangs were elongated, a pristine shirt with billowing sleeves hung open to expose his chest fur, yet a dark belt at his waist allowed the top to closely follow the edges of his frame- despite his usual boots and bangles, he was the epitome of a vampire. Upon his arm, not quite extended into her domain, he held a large basket with the face of a jack-o-lantern; though the opening at its top was obscured by a dark cloth.

I've just posted a new Silvaze fic! In an attempt to save the future, Silver and Blaze stow away on Eggman's newest spacecraft. Hiding in a cramped prison egg, the two of them can't even stand up straight. Awkwardness and foolishness ensues. Links in replies, hope you enjoy!

"Torn from her thoughts in an instant, acting on instinct divorced from intent, Blaze lurched forward as she felt her legs concede beneath her. Both of her hands were thrown forward in an attempt to brace against something solid only to meet with a set of shoulders that were also descending. It all happened so fast and yet each fumble stung with blunt mortification in her mind. His hands caught the small of her back, her tail spiked straight in a useless show of surprise. She'd pointlessly curled her toes, her feet couldn't get a grip in midair- psychic light had flashed from him too little too late. Her knee stung as it met the hard floor, the back of his head rang against the metal wall. Their tumble climaxed in the sensation of her clavicle upon his ribcage and an open mouthful of fluff.

Her gaze drifted up his frame, she had truly tried her hardest to forget what he was wearing. Given the stealthy nature of this mission, he'd explained that the stark white of his fur and its loose fluff could give away their positions- to prevent such, he'd secured a body suit made from a black material that left little to the imagination... only to discover that it would not zip beyond his chest fur! The cat's own outfit reflected her acceptance of that same premise, ditching her heels for some flatfooted boots and her overcoat for a slim fitting jumpsuit. In reality, the extent of their sneaking so far had been hiding out within this cramped container!

Between the strain and her wandering thoughts, the cat had no idea if he had fallen first and knocked her to stumble of vice versa! Suddenly, one of his hands slid from her backside and along the curve of her spine! Her teeth grit, a hiss was building in her throat, but when his hand left her to touch the back of his head a wince crumpled his features. He looked dazed, how hard had he hit his head?"

New fanfic now up, only crumbs of Silvaze this time because I wanted to try something weird! This tale is written from the perspective of Eggman Nega, following a failed attack on the Sol Dimension. Links in the replies, I hope you enjoy.

Text that reads: Only now, sat in the broken command throne of this unmoving husk, can I see this foible for what it truly was. I took the base design of a soft fool and recreated a scene right out of his ignorant grandson's playbook, I tried to rely on the shoulders I stand upon and again I found them to be lacking. While I hold no delusions regarding my family's lineage of failure, I see no reason to embrace that tradition. This was not my failure, this was their reincarnated.

I record this log to serve as a reminder, to myself and any future kin of the Robotnik name. There are no shortcuts, be it harnessing designs from the past or secreting away to a testing site in another reality. You must prepare for all eventualities, understand that each innovation must topple all that came before.

While Robotnik science lost on this day, this defeat has brought with it a solid philosophy with which to move forward- one I should have learned after lowering myself to work with Ivo. My foes' shared weakness is that they are united while I shall stay solitary. My machines can break and fail, but they are mere tools to me. A single loss will devastate them and open the path to victory. Unite your foes so that when one does fall, all will fall with them. I shall monitor the fraternization between Silver the hedgehog and Blaze the cat with the greatest of interest.

Thought this was a good chance to put out one of my darker tales- this one for day 4, Sacrifice! Blaze accompanies Silver to brave a post-apocalypse in the hopes of saving the future. Knowing those who live in the past they’re saving makes the job far harder. Links in replies!

The sound of a footstep pulled Blaze from her thoughts and brought her to turn, her gaze fell upon her partner’s back. She could read his pain without seeing his face, the stiffness of his spine and tightness in his shoulders. Blaze also knew that Silver could see the same in her.

Something scuffed off his boot as he walked, a flash of gold caught Blaze’s eye, but her gaze snapped back to him. He made it to the edge of what had once been Tails’ workshop and set about raising the memento that had first stolen their attention and left them speechless. A stick with peeling paintwork that ended in a massive red and yellow head.

Ultimately, his muscle alone proved insufficient to raise Amy Rose’s hammer. He could only manage to prop it on its head, pointing its handle toward the sky. Even still, it now stood taller than all the rubble behind it. The mess of stone and metal in which she’d already sighted trinkets spread far, pieces of cloth and memory. This was where their friends had surely fallen.

I hope you're ready for some Silvaze angst. New fic now up, using a bit of a new style within. Marine finds a stranger waiting at the bottom of the palace stairs. He has a tale to tell, of ten years misspent. Where is Blaze? What has happened? Links in the replies!

A fic segment:

Marine recognised a set of white quills and cyan symbols, but a series of unfamiliar features stopped the raccoon from rushing toward the hedgehog. He was missing an eye- a black patch obscured the loss. His bangles were more weathered than those Marine had seen before- just like his face. There was only one explanation.

"Strewth, you must be Silver's dad!" She beamed, bouncing on the spot, "He never said you were a viking... come to think of it, I don't think he's ever talked about-

The big guy stretched an arm forward as he closed the distance between them, reaching for her head with an open hand. He dropped to one knee and met her face to face; as he gently ruffled her ears, a familiar smile creased his pale muzzle.

"I missed you, Marine," It took no more than their gaze meeting for the youth to understand.

"M-Mate?" She squeaked in shock, "What happened to your eye!?"

The first part of my three chapter Silvaze fic is linked below! This tale focuses on a race through the desert, with the duo facing their most difficult challenge yet. To save the world, they have joined Jet the Hawk as part of a three person racing team...

"You talk big Sonic, but we all know how this is gonna end. Silver's competing, so I guess you'll be left with bronze," Jet loudly chortled from down the hall.

"Wow, how long did it take you to think that one up?" The blue blur bounced back, "All that thinking, and the joke doesn't even make sense- this is a team race, you'll share a spot on the podium."

"Yeah," Now Tails had shown up. Great, "You can keep Silver, we'll get the gold!"

"Oh would you shut up, twerp!" Jet shouted.

Finally, it sounded like the door to Team Sonic's dormitory had shut. Blissful quiet lasted for only a moment, soon Jet rounded from the hall to join Silver and Blaze in their shared room. He was still radiating his typical smugness- hoverboard beneath his arm and goggles stuck to his forehead.

"So," The hawk smoothed back his feathers, "How's it going, team?"

Amy Rose is tired of winter. It's wet, cold, and makes everything slippy. I've posted a new Sonamy + Silvaze fanfic, focused on an escape from winter's grasp to the warm shores of Blaze's dimension. Links in the replies!

"The dimensional tunnel is secure, we're good to go!” Tails announced.

Faster than even Sonic could rise, Amy leapt for the portal. The transition was instantaneous, in less than a blink she went from shivering in a freezing shed atop a hillside to sweating in her heavy coat. It was all perfect- the warmth of the sun, the sound of the sea! Ahead of her stretched bright yellow sand sand and perfect aquamarine ocean all the way to the horizon. There was barely a cloud in the sky, scarcely a breeze in the air, and only a handful of confused looking koala onlookers.

Amy threw off her jacket and kicked off her boots as she dashed across the sands, fully acclimatising. Revealed beneath the former were the shoulder straps of a swimsuit she'd managed to pick up cheap during the winter. The one piece was styled like an inverted strawberry, complete with a leaf green skirt. Immediately she felt that warm summer comfort she'd so desperately sought; vitamin D at last!

"Blaze? Silver! Are you guys here?"

My first Silvaze fanfic of the year has just been posted! After a day at the beach has been wasted, Blaze secures an opportunity to spend some time with Silver. What does she have in mind, and will everything go as she's planned? Links in the replies, I hope you enjoy!

The cat tutted, turning her attention back to the sea, "You know how he is. Once he's got his mind set on something, he won't give up..."

The glint of cyan on the horizon now reflected on the other side of rushing water. Despite not using his powers, the hedgehog had still managed to enter the green room- the barrel generated by the tumbling and rising of waves, the sliver of a cylinder present before the collapse of the water back into frothy flatness. Blaze knew the balance and positioning required for that effort was highly sought.

If it weren't for the unique combination of the dark and his symbols, Blaze might have thought the waves had swallowed him. He looked truly otherworldly in that space; a figure shining aquamarine in the dark, a body highlighted by the reflecting of water. Being able to sight his distinctive quills, distorted by the crashing waves, made her wonder what other sights she might have missed this afternoon.

Despite Blaze’s strike landing hard, the monster was seemingly unharmed. Iblis swept a claw through the cobbles of the plaza and tore the earth asunder. The cat leapt with the devastation but was caught up in it- battered as she soared away from her foe. Why was he standing still while she was fighting; they were meant to be partners! Was he really that useless to her?

"Blaze, I'm here!" Silver shouted out to her, arms wide as he ran.

It took no more than their eyes locking for her to make a decision. In a moment she was light, blinding white energy that reshaped to take an inanimate form. Blaze the cat had become a jewelled sceptre; she was shaped like a shepherd's crook but decorated with gems and equipped with a long dark rod that ended in a spike. Silver snatched her spinning form from the air only to stumble as he felt her weight, very almost dropping her.
